Poor customer service by the manager in duty on 09/02/22. She is a poor representation of the Panera Bread Brand. I purchased a... bowl that I saw on a picture next to the register. The cashier told me this was a Baja bowl. The picture showed chicken,avocado, quinoa, tomatoes etc. I told him I would take that bowl. He told me there was no yogurt dressing, I told him that wasfine, I'd take it without. On getting home, I realized that the bowl had little to no avocados, not a problem. I have avocadosat home so I added some avocadoes. I started to eat and realized that there was no chicken in the bowl. I called the store andasked for the manager, and try to explain to her that I ordered a Baja bowl but it had no chicken. She said do I have a receipt,I told her I did not but I had the to go ticket and the card that I paid for the item with. I tried to explain to her that I didnot know the bull did not come without chicken because the cashier did not explain that to me. The picture that I saw showed abowl complete with avocado chicken and the fixings. So needless to say I assume that's what came in the bowl cuz I was not toldotherwise. Instead of her just apologizing and say in the future I will discuss this with my staff and ensure this does nothappen again. She proceeded to argue with me about what I said and what I did not say. I do not care about the bowl beingincorrect because mistakes can happen...what I cared about was how rude she was and how quickly she was dismissive. And hung upthe phone. To the manager, you are in the service industry....provide better customer service and represent your brand better.Listen to your customers... listen to understand. Read more
Food was good and hot, however customer service was terrible. As the employee brought our food, he proceeded to say " we close... in 10 minutes, do you guys want to go boxes?". They were kicking us out without even taking a bite, and it was definitely not 10minutes before closing. We asked the employee to repeat himself, and he whispered something like "whatever, I don't even care",and walked away. What seemed to be the manager did not seemed to be in a good mood either. The guys prepping the food werereally nice. Management needs to improve, and standards could, too. How do people expect for a business to thrive, when they arekicking the only source of sales, a customer..? Make it make sense. Read more
As I sit here in Panera, I can't help but wonder why this franchise' owner has not (after so many years), refurbished the place.... From the old carpet, to the walls, to the ceiling, and even the noisy drinks machine, this joint has seen better days. Make nomistake, the food is good as always (5 stars), but I think a bit of TLC will bring more customers (and profit) in. Read more
Panera Bread is always delicious and tonight was no exception. My daughter and I stopped in for a quick dinner after doing a... little shopping. The restaurant was not busy and the staff, as always, was always very helpful and kind. We like the abundantitems on their menu. It makes it easy for everyone to find something that they like. Since this review was posted, the manager contacted me with an apology & stated that I will be compensated for the sandwich. ... She was very professional. We love Panera but this time the steak sandwich looked terrible. I ordered to go so didn't see ituntil I was home. When I called the restaurant, the manager said I could only receive a refund if I brought the sandwich back,but who wants to drive back to the restaurant when the sandwich should have been prepared properly in the first place? I haveto do the extra work when the restaurant should have done a better job? The other parts of the order were good, the sandwichwas disappointing. Read more
