I'm not used to small portions in Texas but to be fair it was cheap for a catfish filet, small cole slaw and fries ($18).

Sam?s Boat?s is always a fun place to visit no matter which one you get to. Their crawfish is so good and reasonably priced and... they don?t charge you extra from the corn and potatoes! Our waitress was very friendly and attentive and we tipped her accordingly! Our eight year old came with us and he enjoyed the... children's area. As for the food, it wasn't memorable at all. Today is my birthday so we decided to check this out since it'salways packed. We ordered crab balls for an appetizer and they were lukewarm, which made it taste very "bready". I had thecrab legs and my husband had the Mahi Mahi. The crab legs were covered in a very salty Cajun seasoning and again, thetemperature of my food was lukewarm. The legs yhwnselves felt like theybhad been boiled twoce, as the shell wasnt "bendy" andthe meat was tough. These factors made my meal subpar.
