If you like diners, this is the diner for you. This place achieves exactly the vibe I look for in a diner. It hits all the... important points: quick (but friendly) service, a solid, no-frills menu, and good food. The price is reflective of theatmosphere, which is great in this case. We overlooked this place for a whole because it's kind of hidden in the strip, but willbe returning now that I've experienced it. Five stars, my favorite local diner so far. Read more
We visited the Peekskill, NY Pastels for the past two years while on vacation for just about every breakfast/brunch. Great... customer service and the waiters definitely acknowledge their regulars and customers such as us when visiting by the next day.The food is good but this year there seemed to be a little less of portions served as compared to last year. Other than that wealways look forward for when we get up to go get breakfast/brunch to come to this place. The bathroom could have been a littlebit better since there was very little toilet paper. Overall, I recommend this place. Read more
Excellent service and vibe, easy parking, cozy design, clean, friendly and professional. Food portions are generous and the... price is right! Such tasty fries. I loved the staff and my server was helpful, attentive, accurate and sweet. Coffee was notgreat - would be amazing if they served Vassilaros coffee (often used by diners and so good.)
