1st time trying here. Heard good things and they were all true! We had the $22.50 dinner Duo of Chicken Martini with a side of... penne pasta and eggplant rollitine appetizer and it came with great bread and even a dessert!! Incredible for the price!Absolutely delicious and the portions were amazing!! This fed my girlfriend and I completely with enough leftovers for lunch thenext day!! Wow!!! A restaurant in these times that have a 4 course special for only $27 with a glass of wine Monday through Friday!!! Thank... you to the person that wrote they went up from $26 to $27. I haven't seen a deal like this anywhere and I travel far and wideto eat in great restaurants. This place happens to have the most delicious food and is so accomodating to their patrons that Ihave ever come across in all my travels. I come from Long Island every other Saturday to eat here because the food is soamazing as its hospitality, and has beautiful views of the Hudson as well. I wasn't even aware of a special during the week,because its so inexpensive to begin with. I feel so very sad for anyone who don't value the benefits of a place like this thathas not up charged (but a $1) for its food as so many other restaurants had to nearly double their prices in order to offsettheir own expenses to stay in business. I send many blessings to the owner of this establishment for helping to keep thecommunity of Peekskill still having an afordable great family place to dine. Read more
It breaks my heart to write a review with a low rating. My family came to this restaurant several times and today was the final... straw for us. We called ahead to reserve their back table in their main dining room and was told that it was available. Shortlyafterwards, we arrived only to find out that the hostess did not know the table was already reserved when her stand is adjacentto the table we requested. We reluctantly sat down at another table, but things did not become any better. My family and Ialways order from the $26 (now $27 because they raised the price) 4-course dinner meal and was told they were not serving dinnerfrom that menu tonight. We were last here on June 26 where we sat outdoors and my dad ordered spaghetti pasta with garlic,olive oil, shrimp, and calamari. However, my dad was served fettuccine alfredo and they forgot to put the shrimp and calamaritopping. We tried to inform the restaurant of this previous incident, although they never called us back. The reason why I amawarding this restaurant with 2 stars is because the food is decent and the location is great — in the heart of DowntownPeekskill. The bottom line is that my party and I have not had the best dining experience. I would advise people reading myreview to take my opinion with a grain of salt and to look elsewhere for restaurants. Very courteous and swift staffs. They took very good care. The food was pretty good. I loved the salad they served as in-house.... We didn't even order that salad. The dressing was mouthwatering. The veal chop was cooked to perfection. Cosmopolitan was quitewell made too. Recommended for people visiting peekskill. Read more
Great location a 5 minutes walk to the park and waterfront after crossing over the train tracks. Amtrak and the MetroNorth stops... within a 5 minutes walking distance. The staff were all friendly. We fed a party of 5 for less than 100 dollars. The weather wasgorgeous so we ate outdoors. Definitely recommend this restaurant. Read more
This place, while very unassuming with a dated décor, has really good food. I work but do not live in the area and bring home... the family meals at least once a week. The chicken martini is fantastic. The mini stuffed artichokes are superb. The eggplantrollatini is so delicious. Good food and reasonable prices. Read more
Nice location as restaurant is within walking distance of Riverfront Green Park. Took a nice walk down by the water, then we... were warmly welcomed by the staff at the restaurant. Food was delicious, large portions and even gave us some complimentaryzeppolas for dessert! Plus they were able to provide my group of 12 with separate checks. Reason for 4 stars, thought theinside lacked ambiance, but that would not stop me from going again. Read more
Food was decent - service was not. Criminally overcharged EVERY dish we had by $2-3 each! Changed it once we brought it up. The... server said the new system is to blame, because they haven't input the correct prices. She also said that she's already toldmanagement about the prices being wrong, but they haven't done anything about it. This means that management AND the server wereaware of this overcharging issue, and overcharged us regardless. Didn't even give us a "sorry" for it. Food was decent, but Idon't like dishonest business practices. Will not be returning. Read more
