We had some of the best and freshest lobster rolls ever at this little shack near Peggy's Cove!! Not a tourist trap at all, this... little find is worth every penny. We got the truffle lobster roll which was incredible, and the classic lobster roll which waseven better. They came with a slice of pickle and a handful of chips. They were delicious until the very last bite. They hadpicnic tables on-site to enjoy wonderful food while looking out at the surroundings near Peggy's Cove. Read more
Recently visited Peggy's Cove and stopped at Tom's Lobster Shack for their famous lobster roll! This a must-have while in the... area. The lobster rolls were fully loaded with juicy pieces of lobster! Our group tried the Truffle Roll and the Classic Roll.Both were amazing! Tom's Lobster Shack also serves Ice Cream! Awesome lobster rolls at Peggy's Cove. We tried all 4 types and our favourite was the truffle lobster roll. The classic and... Cajun were also really good, though we found the naked roll a bit dry. Rolls are pretty big and filled with tender lobster meat. Read more
We stopped by Tom?s Lobster Shack during our visit to Peggy?s Cove and we had several Lobster Rolls (Truffle, Cajun, Classic).... They were all delicious and, most definitely, as fresh as you can get them. The bill wasn?t cheap ($26 + Tax each) but, this isa touristy destination and lobster prices have been going up. Of course when you come to the east coast you got to have a Lobster Roll. This place has one of the best Lobster Rolls you can... get at a great price. They pack it with Lobster that is sweet and meaty. I think the Cajun roll is the best but you can?t gowrong with the other selections. The home made chips complement the sweet Lobster Roll with a hard salty crunch that isexcellent. Read more
The lobster rolls here are pretty good but I have to be honest, it isn?t really anything special. They are certainly good, but... not the best that I?ve had. The staff were friendly and the food was prepared quickly. Hopefully in the future, there will besome more seating around the shack that would be able to accommodate more people. Read more
The best lobster roll we had during our visit, better than anything else we ordered back in Halifax. They had Cajun and Truffle;... we went for the Cajun and it was a nice flavour. Fresh cold lobster salad on a warm buttered bun. Mouth salivating as thisreview is being written. Definitely worth it while you're visiting Peggy's Cove!!! Read more
