Very terrible. They make you order on a kiosk which is bad enough. They only had 1 that took cash and it wasn't even plugged in... so I couldn't eat there. Staff was just sitting at a table when we came in less than 2 hours after open. Got no greeting when weentered. Read more

Place was dirty. Floors were dirty and tables. It is NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM of how the old steak n shake was. Eliminating the... waitresses and just having a screen to order from ruined it. I will go anywhere else to eat before I go back here. Read more
My family (5 of us) came in around 11:30 pm on Thursday, August 25th after driving from Texas. We ordered our food from the... kiosk and the food was ready about 15 minutes later. My fries were not even warm, the chili was watered down but I was tiredand hungry so I didn?t complain. As soon we got our food and started to eat, a worker came by and said we close in 15 minutes. We were like ok. Then at 11:59 he gets on the intercom and says ?the time is now 11:59 and we close in one minute.? We we?retrying to hurry. He walked back by and gave us a dirty look, so we asked ?can we finish eating or do you want us to leave now?? He then says ?My manager says you have until 12:15.? We finished eating and left before then but as we were leaving he saidsomething and I started to turn around and ask him what? But I was tired and didn?t want confrontation. Place has went downhill tremendously. My SO, and I got shakes. Went home and noticed that the size proportions were off. They... have had Small, Medium and Large. They apparently got rid of the large, as well as the chicken tenders. (Due to quality issues)When I called the voice line on their end was really quiet. We tried calling on 3 devices with the same result. Once we couldclearly hear the individual on the phone he was extremely rude. We were nothing but polite to him. He started spouting thatthere was never a large which uh-huh sure buddy. When I brought up the fact that our banana shake is incorrect he began to yellfor some reason. A banana milkshake with nothing else added should be yellow(ish) in color. Not brown. After the hassle RON gaveus we finished one of the milkshakes and not even 10 minutes later we were sick. So I order my food in drive thru pull up 20 seconds later try to add a chili and was told we don?t allow add ons. Now mind you... there is no one in line behind me, I have yet to pay for order so what is the big deal??? This place is a joke. I see themanager or so they call themselves hanging out front I explain the situation and her response was?well it?s company policy? wowgreat customer service skills you have there ?manager?. I have been in the business for 30plus years have managed several multimillion dollar a year restaurants and this is not how you treat people you want coming back. But hey apparently this is what youget for the money. And I will going back there I wouldn?t recommend it to anybody to go back there. Me and my husband went out to steak and shake this evening. And the lady sam there was an absolute sweet heart , our order had... got a little messed up and she fixed it for us and even came out to make sure that everything was good . You don't come acrossto many good employees too often anymore . She is definitely a keeper . Thank you so much for being so kind . Read more
I can get used to the new kiosk system because I enjoy this indoor setting, especially for groups. But the workers need to be... more diligent at cleaning the drink counter, wiping tables and keeping the floor from being sticky (it looks okay but our shoessure made sticking sounds). And we had tipped at the 20 per cent level, too. Might rethink that the next time. Read more
