Th bathrooms were dirty and no soap,toliet paper in the sink and no paper towels.The floors were gross it looked it had not... swept in a long time. The tables were not clean when we got there.Our food was cold.Our waitress did her very best to handlethings. It was not manged very well.The Pelham Waffle House needs to do better. Read more
We walked in around 1045 am Saturday morning, sep 24, 2022. There were a few people ahead of us. They waited around 10 mins no... issue they sat at a table. we waited another 10 mins before walking out, they still hadn?t even gotten a drink order. So as wewaited there were about 3 other tables that got up and left. The tables remained dirty and therefore no one could sit down. Atthis point there are 10 people waiting, 2 in my party and 8 other people not associated with us. We Noticed that the 5 or 6staff members just walked into the storage area, I mean even the cook left. There was one poor server April trying her best androcking it solo. As we go to leave we see the ?missing? employees smoking on the side of the building. Waffle House I?m sure youknow, when there?s a crowd of people might wanna see what can be done before smoke breaks. If I was in a corporate position I?dshut this place down and do some retraining. Horrible Horrible. After sitting at the bar section for about 10 minutes watching all the staff goofing off, drinking coffee and... not giving a second to customers a server finally looked at me and asked if I had been waited on. When I said No she looked atanother server and said you have a diner. She said "I have a diner?" And they carried on and on about I wasn't her customer andthen someone else chimed in about it wasn't her turn either. Well, I left. Should made everyone's day. Read more
I have been eating at the waffle house brand restaurants since I was a child. I used to go to them with my grandfather. they... were his favorite restaurant he always said, no matter where you were you could depend depend on the coffee tasting the same andthe food too. Unforlately it has been very hard to find a good restaurant restaurant to eat at in this area. I live inMontevallo and there's nowhere good to eat here. I am closer to calera But the waffle house there is not very good.it seemsrare steak and eggs are difficult for most places. And timing the food to come out at the same time all hot, is harder andharder these days. *****FIRST TIME CUSTOMER at this Location Alert My son went in order a patty melt meal, a Texas chicken melt NO BACON & a Pecan... Waffle, extra pecans. SMH - Order was wrong, I sent him back in because I don?t eat red meat and they gave us two patty melts. Let?s not discuss the pecan waffles which the must have thought about the pecans AFTER the cooked the waffle because they justthrew a bunch of them on there and flip the waffle down in the bowl. Anyways, the remake STILL had bacon on it, I slide thebacon off because at this point I just need something in my stomach, I took two bites, when going for the third bite I see asmall piece of BLONDE HAIR on my sandwich. Stopped here on our way back from UAB. The lone waitress who was identified as Brittney by her badge was absolutely pitiful.... Usually Waffle House is pretty fast and on the spot. Not this location. My partner and I walked in snd placed our order. We arestill waiting on our drinks. Finally had to ask for them. The cook I?m not sure of her name but you could tell she wasaggravated to put it mildly. I don?t think she was upset with the customers, I think the server was upsetting her. She wasslower than Christmas! The attached pic is our server who was to busy checking her phone to take care of the customers. Didn?tknow that Waffle House allowed staff to wear air pods while working but I guess this location doesn?t care. The cook howeverwas amazing! Didn?t get the cooks name but she got all of our tips, which amounted to over $30. Management needs to payattention and give this cook a raise! Read more
Came in, sat down and waited my turn to be served. Waitress looked at me, so I know she knew I was there. Other folks came in... sat down. She waited on a couple and single. I looked at the time spent waiting (20 mins) and decided to leave. It was notcrowded either. Read more
