The place was filthy, the carpet is stained, the pie case was so dirty, pretty disgusting. They also were sweeping carpet while... people were eating. And when they brought the check they had no amounts written next to what we ordered WTH!! Gave check tocashier and she just punched in a bunch of numbers and said this is what you owe. Good southern style home cooking. The fried catfish was cooked perfectly. The sides of hush puppies, baked potato and cole slaw... were equally delicious. The service was prompt, and food was hot and fresh. Read more
First time here and will be our last. I got grilled catfish and it was so salty I could not eat it. The marinade just tasted... like soy sauce. My husband order steak medium. It came out rare if that. Server took it back and it came back medium well. Atrue chef/cook should be able to cook a steak perfectly, this was not Waffle House. Read more
Our 3 orders weirdly came within 5 minutes of ordering and they ALL got to the table COLD. Had to have the waitress give us all... new ones. When the food finally came back warm, it was not even good. No desire to return. Read more
I ordered ribeye-medium rare, it was well done. Waitress took it back and brought a new one 5 minutes later. The new steak was... cold and I couldn?t even slice it with a steak knife ???? Our waitress was busy and no where to be found, so my husband askedthe older lady working at the register to ask the chef or manager to come talk to us. I just wanted to ask what temperature itwas before it came to our table. But she was rude about it. She said it will be cold by the time it gets to our table ???? Notcold!! It wasn?t even seasoned. We went there a few days ago, the service was great, and the food was delicious. Restaurant was very clean, and the tables were... sanitized after every customer. Price is acceptable, a cheeseburger with fries was 10.99 and I think the Huge club sandwich was12.99. This is a friendly place for a good meal! Read more
Traveling through in our RV and decided to eat somewhere local. The Website did not match the decor or food at all. Basically a... 3 meat and Vegetable place with other items. Problem was that when we asked the server what was good, we were told the Steakswere hit or miss and not to order them. So it was Chicken and Vegas. Vegas had been microwaved and was cold when they reachedthe table. The Food was not awful, it just wasn't good. What was good, was the desert. One person got Lemon and I got CoconutCream. Should have just gotten Desert and skipped Dinner. We were told that the deserts are made fresh on Saturday and since wewere there are on Sunday, they were very good. The reason why I have it a 4 Star is because of the older lady at the cash register. I am a Combat Veteran. It seems like when I... ask about the military discount. She gets upset and with a nasty attitude. This has happen (2 times)???? that I have comethere.. Someone should talk to her about being nice and respectful to the customer.
