Ate there not once, but twice in the same weekend! They were packed full. Stated the wait was gonna be about a half hour. They... said they were really backed up, and that our food may take a while. All of this because they claimed to be short staffed. Wegot seated before the half hour was up and we really didn't need to wait long for our food. For being 'short staffed' we didn'tneed to wait long to get seated OR to get our food! Courteous waitstaff, and fantastic food! Will definitely eat there again! Read more
Been going to George's for many years. The last 2 times pizza is sub par. In fact just picked up a large half beef and half... Italian sausage. Had 5 small pieces of sausage on half a pizza . Extremely disappointing for a $20 piece of dough. will notreturn. Much much better food elsewhere Read more
Small eatery in downtown Pella, Ia. Our server Paige was very welcoming and attentive. I had the Duchess burger and she had a... bacon cheeseburger. Also ordered cheese curds which came out almost immediately, hot and crisp. Burgers were well prepared, hotand very good tasting. We sat inside because of the heat but they also offer an outdoor table or two. Overall satisfied withfood, service and pricing. Would come back. Read more

Went to Pella to look at tulips and came across this restaurant. The food was good but the sitting is a little cramped. We sat... on the front porch outside which was nice. The wait staff was nice but just a little slow. All of the food was delicious andhot. We didn't order the pizza but the table next to us did and it looked good. Dined in on a Thursday night and they were busy. Was able to get a table right away. Order was taken, drinks served and food... brought to table without much wait. Excellent customer service by wait staff. Food was excellent as always. Overall, greatexpierence. Read more
