One of the cleanest restaurants I have ever seen!! Everything was clean and well taken care of. The staff was very friendly and... very attentive. Never had to ask for a refill because they were right there filing it up. Buffet was nice with a goodselection. We were there around 9am on a Sunday and half of the buffet was breakfast items and the other half lunch items. Goodselection of eggs. Enjoyed everything about this place. Read more

We were not greeted by anyone while waiting for a table so we weren't sure if we were going to have a good experience or not.... Several staff walked by the growing line waiting for tables and never addressed anyone. Aside from that, once we were seated, our waitress was prompt and super friendly! The food we ordered was out very quick and was hot and delicious! The prices werevery reasonable as well! We will eat here again when we visit Pella next time. Read more
Had lunch here with a friend. I ordered the hickory burger with bbq sauce and bacon. Friend ordered the windmill burger... featuring melted cheese and onion over the bun. Both were fantastic. We can't wait to go back and try other items on the menu! Read more
I absolutely love this Cafe. The employees are super sweet and the food is like home. I love the breakfast all day option. And... if you like brown gravy, you simply must try theirs. It is amazing. Small Town diners are hard to beat, and The Windmill Cafe is definitely a gem. This place is what you picture when thinking of... the small town diners, and that one place everyone goes to. They have a great menu, and I'm sure you cannot order a thing thatisn't great! I had an omelette for breakfast, came with hash browns and toast. Great portions so that's nothing to worry about.You will get your money's worth! Also, very good service. The place was bustling, which is pretty typical of small town cafes ona Saturday morning and the staff kept up nicely. Also, check out their daily pie selections.
