5 o?clock reservation, seated within 5 minutes. All wait staff courteous and helpful with menu choices. Prices are clearly... marked on menu. I had filet and my wife had whitefish. By far, I had the best food ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? that I?ve had in a long time at the Douglas Lake Bar & Steakhouse! Absolutely ????... notch! Friends from Mullet Lake took us to this hidden gem in Pellston and the only downfall is the location of the restaurant,in that I live so far away to visit it frequently. How would I describe this restaurant? ??Beautiful location??Rustic decor,??Lively atmosphere??Flavourful and appealing food and ??Exceptional service! I had the seafood ???? chowder and lake perch???? which was to die for and I ate everything and I mean everything on my plate. I wouldn?t even share mine with my friends.We finished off our meal with homemade carrot ???? cake ???? and cream brûlée. The bread they brought to the table was tasty???? too! We drove about an hour from our cottage to try something new, and wow, what a pleasant surprise. The atmosphere, service, and... food were fantastic. Our picky 9-year-old son even tried and loved the mussel appetizer! Bunnie, our server, was top notch. Wewill make the drive many times now as the restaurant selection near us is limited. Read more

Lovely venue for a great dinner. The food was delicious and the atmosphere is very nice. I had the perch which was delicious... and highly recommended. I would have given them 5* but the service was a little off - our waitress forgot to bring a glass ofwine someone ordered, and also forgot my water. It wasn?t very busy when we were. My wife and I went here for a steak dinner and were not disappointed one bit! The drinks were good and the bartender "George"... did a great job. Made sure my wife and I always had a full drink and let us try a bit of a drink that he had made extra of. Thesteaks were awesome. My wife thought I was ridiculous, cause I was drooling on the plate, but mannnnnn that was a juicy steak.The atmosphere was great and there were spots to sit by the lake before and after dinner. Food was alright but overpriced. If you plan on eating here make reservations. There was a 2 hour wait but we were lucky enough... to find seats at the bar. We didn?t get the bread that came standard for everyone and it was crowded. Every time someone cameout of the kitchen they hit my chair, I moved it as far as I could but still happened.
