We ordered a pizza for take out. Had a little bit of confusion where Hoppies Landing was because we were from out of town and... there were no signs that we had noticed. I called Hoppies and asked for their location. It is inside the Pellston RegionalAirport. The pizza was pretty good, not the best I've had but a 14 inch cost $23.00!! A little pricey we thought. Cool to see the planes etc staff are thin but seem in good spirits. The food was pretty good.
Ordered a mushroom and pepperoni pizza for takeout. The service was very fast and pretty friendly, and even though I fell behind... on the order time (20 minutes), the pizza was still warm. The mushrooms were a little bitter but I think it is because I'm usedto hearty fast food mushrooms. The sauce itself was zesty and very delicious, and there was a perfect amount of cheese. I wasonly two slices in and already felt full because of how hearty and delicious it was. I will definitely order more sometime! Read more
Took the parents because dad heard good things about the all-you-can-eat fish. They loved the fish and tartar sauce, but didn?t... care for the coleslaw. I had pizza and the crust was nice and soft. Either go early or go late because it?s popular. Very nicelounge area if you have to wait for seating though. Friendly staff, good service. Read more
This is a very good FAMILY dining spot. They usually have good service, (last time we were a little dissapointed, but they are a... small place) a very unique atmosphere and location but the food is below average. Pizza was undercooked, wings were undercookedand almost soggy like. All in all bland food. They have a shuffleboard table which is cool and the bar is a nice spot to grab aburger and a beer. The theme of both the airport and Hoppies was pretty cool. We were greeted by several animals on the way into the restaurant. I... had one of the best pizzas of my life! Was not expecting that from an airport restaurant. I definitely recommend checking itout. Read more
Hoppies Landing is in a small airport, Pellston Regional Airport, but it is the most unique airport I have ever been to!! It is... small, only two terminals, but the rustic decor make it worth any delay you could ever hope to face!! Hoppies is on the secondfloor of the airport. It has a full bar, plenty of waiting area, a small arcade for the kids, shuffleboard for the adults and alarge menu. The food is good, the service was fast, and the drinks were not lacking!! And all with a view of the airstrip!! Ihighly recommend visiting, and hey, if your from a long way out, you can always book a flight ;) Read more
Weekend of Dec 3, we were in town for a Robotics competition. We had come from Novi. We ordered the dinner on Friday and the... manager ensured that the pizzas were ready by the time we needed them. Everything was perfect. The next day they open at 12 andthe competition lunch was at 12:30. I asked the manager (Greg) if we can still pick up the order at 12 and he said we could. Iget there at 12 and I find the pizzas ready!! This was amazing service from the restaurant. Since I had 10 pizzas, the managereven came and help deliver them to my car! Now about the pizzas.. everyone on the team absolutely loved the pizzas. We orderedsingle toping veggie pizzas and people tried all of them over two days and had nothing but good thing to say!
