Went thru Cook Out in Pembroke N.C late yesterday and had the worst time going thru the drive thru..The smart a@# that was... working the drive thru window could not hear me and after i had place my order 3 or 4 times with her still not getting it rightshe wanted too act if it was my fault..Guess what Cook Out you lost a 48.00 order we went right down the street and placed with0 problems..Im thinking Im done with the whole Cook Out drive inns for good..Yes i live in Pembroke and will never comeback..There are other places too spend my hard earned money besides there where you have too deal with rude people!!! Where do I even begin?! 1.) Sat at the speaker for several minutes before my order was taken. After someone finally answered, I... tried placing my order only to be left in silence once again. 2.) After my order was taken, I was told that it would be $18.21.I gave the cashier a $20 and was told that there was no change so they only gave me a dollar. Once I got home I realized that Ididn?t get my entire order and my receipt said that my order was only $14.21! 3.) Tbh even after all of that I wasn?tnecessarily upset until I opened the food that I did receive. I ordered a tray with fries and cheese bites but to mydisappointment I only received five very tiny cheese bites that were not even worth eating at that point. 4.) I also ordered acoke float but was only given a cup of ice cream! Lol 5.) I tried calling the store to express my frustrations but of course Iwas sent to voicemail. I?d very much recommend that people not eat here. The experience is not worth it and you?ll be left verydisappointed. Read more

This place is ridiculous. It takes entirely too long to place an order. No one answers the second ordering line until you say... helllooooooo. Then to place an order that has more than one tray, they?ll just sit there silent until we start to add one. We?retold to hold as if there?s a 2 min delay between what I say and what they hear to key in. This is a new location, management hasgot to do better!!! Read more
Walked up and ordered. The food was fast, correct and hot! Had the big double burger, cheese style. It tasted great but very... light in weight compared to all other fast food joints. I doubled my onions rings and got 8 in total, felt a little jipped. Atleast it was way quicker than drive thru. That was packed. The gal at the walk up was very nice and helpful. Read more
