Great Mexican food in the original Lumbee Heartland Pembroke NC
I had a to go order and the guy taking the orders told me it would be ready in 15 minutes, so I show up and no one even tried to... help me for a solid 10-15 minutes. The waitresses just walked the other way when I would try to stop them. Then eventually onegirl asked ?did you have a to go order? Or are you dining in?? I told her it was a to go order and I?d been standing up heretrying to get their attention for 10-15 minutes she just says ?oh? sorry. I?ll go get him.? The gentleman comes up and doesn?tapologize until I tell him how long I had been waiting. I try to be as polite as possible always, but this just was ridiculous.What kind of restaurant leaves someone at the front waiting for this long without even greeting them? Stopped by San Jose for some Taco Tuesdays with the family and some cheese dip and salsa. I had the Chicken and Spinach ... enchiladas with rice while the boys had nachos. My wife had the Taquitos and we enjoyed it enough we didn't have any leftovers!We've been coming to our favorite Mexican restaurant since they opened and will definitely return. Read more
It was busy and short staffed but our waitress did a good job. We had 9 people in our party and our food arrived at way way... different times. I was through with my fish stick tacos before 2 of our orders were brought out. Food was good with theexception of my fish tacos. It was like the nuked a couple of fish sticks, put some cabbage on top in a soft taco and servedwith a bit of mayo. Not too impressed.
