This is one of the best brunches I have ever had. I want to visit Pender again just so I can go to Joe?s Place to have... breakfast. The pork sausage patties are amazing. Toast was excellent, the tatter tots were original and spicy. Eggs perfectlycooked. Definitely do not miss this place for breakfast if you find yourself on Pender!! Read more

We missed Jo's the first time we visited the small complex Jo's is located at. It was just after 2pm and they wouldn't be... serving dinner until after 4:30. We decided to stop by for lunch yesterday, and enjoyed a couple of spicy chicken burgers. Ithen had a look at their breakfast menu. I turned to my partner and gestured to the multitude of Eggs Benedict choices on themenu. I use Eggs Benedict as my bar for breakfast quality. We decided breakfast at Jo's must happen. This morning we came back.I ordered The Jo. A sriracha based hollandaise sauce topping the perfectly poached eggs sitting on chorizo sausage slices andserved with damn good spiced hash browns. Let's just say Jo's raises the bar for me. My partner had waffles with walnuts andwiped cream, along with maple sausage. She very much enjoyed it. I'm strictly a savoury breakfast fan (no maple on my bacon etc)so the maple sausage was not my taste, but the waffles were very tasty. I would recommend this place again and again. I thinkwe might make eating here a habit and visit from North Vancouver as often as we can. Jo (if that wasn't Jo, he was clearly incharge) remembered us from the previous night and was incredibly personable, and the wait staff was fantastic. Highly recommend. Read more

Great service, good food and nice location. I might order a normal burger next time instead of the one with shrimp ;)

Favourite restaurant to eat at whenever we're on Pender Island. Larger than expected portion sizes, love the pop culture decor,... and always friendly owner and waitresses. Read more

I would say it is the best restaurant (not even one of) on the island - though there is not so many choices anyway, but still,... they can make excellent food. I would recommend wings with honey ? siracha sauce. The glaze is amazing, though a bit spicy, butit will tempting you bite again and again. Tomato soup is also wonderful, it's a kind of fusion food which mixed a bit ThailandTom Yum flavor, good for summer. Burgers are wonderful with soft but crispy buns. They have special price for different foodseveryday, and all wine sales in an acceptable price (6.99 per glass / 25 per bottle). The service is very good also, Jo himselfis nice and kind. Unforgettable memories here. Read more
