The chicken was moist, crispy and delicious; almost what KFC used to be like before it all went downhill years ago.

We ordered their maximum box and an 8 piece box to split amongst 9 people. The portion was very generous and the staff were... great. The chicken however was not very good. It was rubbery, the skin was not crisp, and the seasoning was nothing to writehome about. I would rank it below KFC. It was not greasy which is one posotive. It?s dinner time and the location is the Village Square Mall. We decided on a 10-piece Mega Bucket with family fries, gravy and... coleslaw along 10pc chicken for $37.99. Added $7.99 for a 1pc premium Haddock fish and a $5.99 poutine to the meal. Our ordertook 10 minutes to prepare. Service was friendly. The fried chicken was tasty and flavourful. Great coleslaw, fries andgravy. Didn?t know why the poutine was so salty but it was better once we mixed in the gravy included with the MegaBucket. The haddock was delicious but not worth the $7.99 price tag for what was the size of a Mars candy bar. All in all, themeal satisfied 4 empty stomachs. Read more

I was travelling through town today with some business partners and decided to stop in at the Dixie Lee restaurant to get some... fried chicken. I'm so glad that we did because this fast food restaurant delivers on quality food. The staff was incrediblyfriendly and we even caught the franchise owner at the store and he was just as kind as his staff.
