FRIDAY August 26, 2022. We decided on the Irish Nachos. The server came back and said there were no kettles chips but the could... put the ingredients on fries (he said they were good) - not sure why they wouldn'tsubstitute nacho chips. We said ok. He thencame back again saying that they didn't have the ingredients and they couldn't make the nachos. We then ordered a salad andsweet potato fries to share. Wow, I just had the single worst experience ever and likely the most embarrassing. My Mom near 80 wanted to take 6 of us for a... Sunday evening dinner. I made the Mistake of suggesting Flynn's. When we walked in Sunday night about 7:15pm we were seated andtold a bit less than half the menu was available, disturbing but I assumed that meant it was boom busy and selling. We tried tofind suitable stuff on the menu but the pickings were slim, skinny slim. Of our 6 meals, one was sent back twice because BrisketJerky is not a thing. This was my mom's meal, the lady paying the bill. I had gotten this, $14 Mac n cheese skillet which wecounted the 7 fork fulls to finish, while it tasted good, no value there $2/fork full. No concessions were made on our bill, nomanager visit. Worst dining experience ever and my mom was jipped out of $120+ dollars. Our food, service and treatment was noeven suitable for animals. Run far away from this one.....can't wait to see the response to this, it can't be justified! Read more

We decided to visit Flynn's pub today, after a 5 hour wait at the local hospital. We were greeted warmly upon arrival by our... server. The service was great, and our food was served up quickly, and it was delicious! We tried the wings, and fish andchips, both were really terrific, and better than your average "pub grub". Servings were hearty, and pricing was more thanfair. The place started to fill up, as we enjoyed our selections. Obviously, this is a spot favored by the locals, as itseemed more like a house party than just a pub. Delightful visit, and we are already planning to return with friends. DON'TMISS THIS GEM! Coolest place in Penetang. Delicious food, craft beer (by the growler) and a decent whiskey selection. If you are ordering... takeout, try the Smokehouse Box: perfect, juicy fall-off- bone ribs, wings and pulled pork with amazing sides, which feeds threehungry people. Great service! I love the decor and the food was very fast and clearly homemade with amazing quality! Loved the Halloween... decorations and costumes! I never drink coffee I couldn't stop eating and drinking everything here so good! Read more
Was an Awesome pub... in 2022 though the service is just horrible. Our bar tender Tiffany could not have cared less ... she... paid no attention to our empty beer glasses... lost our food order for 35 minutes... and shrugged when we decided to leavebecause we were just done with trying to enjoy our evening out. We had the same experience a couple weeks earlier but triedagain. ... No luck. So we moved down the block to the Wing House and had a great dinner with excellent friendly service. Read more
