This little strip restaurant, is quite good. I was seated promptly. The wait staff was quite attentive to my needs. I ordered... the crispy duck with plum sauce. I was more than pleased with the portions and quality of food. Nice and crispy half duck. Thehappily gave me more plum sauce. I'm not usually down in that area of Bucks. Agree with other reviews, not a friendly place. The dishes were tasty but pretty small for dinner plates with not the best... veggie variety. The biggest issue was paying for the bill, they only allow two cards per table but we had four separate payment.I will not be coming back here. Read more
Had this place on my radar for a while now. Really glad I checked it out. It was my first time trying Thai food. The seating is... pretty cool. They have candles you can light and these separators that look like tree branches. I got the shrimp tempura for anappetizer. It was alright. If I were to go again I'd get something different. For a main dish I got the duck pad Thai. It wasreally good. The fried duck tasted amazing. A few pieces may have been a bit too crispy but most were cooked right. I also triedthe sticky mango rice for dessert. It had a nice custard with a lot of coconut flavor. I liked it. It doesn't bombard you withsweetness. Relies mostly on the mango and custard to deliver some great flavor. It can be expensive but it's worth a try. I'ddefinitely come back to try more stuff. Read more
I have driven by this place a million times, and always wanted to try it. Today me and my fiancé went in for lunch. We were not... disappointed. We had the Thai Chefs special sampler appetizer: Spring Rolls, Shrimp Tempura, Crab Dumpling, Chicken Satay andTriangle Tofu. Delicious!! Over the years we've found Thai Chef offers consistently delicious choices of Thai cuisine. The setting - tables separated by... bamboo space dividers - offers a quiet spot to dine along busy US 1 in Penndel. Staff are masked, quiet & efficient; menus areavailable online as well as in paper take-out copies you can keep. For our most recent meal, my husband enjoyed his favorite -Crispy Duck while I tried their yummy Cashew Nut with Shrimp, Chicken & Pineapple.
