I had a Thanksgiving meal delivered to me today and I think its amazing that this place reaches out into the community.
Great little place to go for breakfast. Friendly clean and quick service. Love coming here.
Although the baked goods are wonderful, we were disappointed that they now only serve breakfast. The eggs were dry, the scrapple... was mooshy. The pumpkin pancakes were fine. Sad that another once great place is having to cut back to survive. Read more

My husband loved the shepherds pie and the peach pie is amazing. I've tried to stop and eat here for at least the past 3 years... but my husband was never interested. Out of the blue he decided to go to Strawberry House. I knew we were in for a treat when wewalked in and there's a cooler full of pies just inside the door and a cooler of fresh picked vegetables next to that. I triedthe shepherds pie too but it's not for me. My husband loved it because it's a huge helping of hamburger and mashed potatoes. Ithought there would be more vegetables in it. I'll try something else next time. However, the chicken broccoli cream soup wasvery very good and the potato salad was good, too. We love the down home atmosphere and it took us back to small town Iowa. Welove it and will be back. There is another whole section of dining in front that I don't have pictures of. I'm going to have avery hard time keeping my weight under control with the easy access to delicious, affordable, home baked pies made by the 85year old grandma. I also hope to stop again and enjoy the outdoor bands on weekends. What a great plus from the Covidshutdown. We stopped again and had another great meal. Great service. I love the chicken pot pie.
