Reviews for Orient Chinese Restaurant in Pennsville Township, NJ

We have almost always had really good meals there. A few times it's been off...like a little over salty...or a bit... overcooked....but I have never experienced the terrible food that some reviewers seem to have. We did notice the egg rolls arenow VERY thin and have hardly any cabbage filling in them. Not even worth eating....the filling is the best part! That isdisappointing. We have been going there for the past 10 years or so. Haven't seen a huge difference in the quality of foodsince the change in owners. The Crab Rangoon are delicious! We still drive over 30 min to get there when we are in the moodfor good Chinese food. We just took the kids and our grandbaby there for a fun night. Ordered 7 or 8 things off the menu andshared everything. We really enjoyed it. The service is usually pretty good. Food comes out quick and hot. Only complaint wehave is they need to have some type of desserts available. Our favorite would be the little sugared donut holes! LOL Read more

Met a friend for dinner. Had a lovely meal - Sesame beef, Fruited shrimp and Chicken fried rice. Great meal - reasonable price.

Love the new decor. Our food was excellent. Try the crab rangoons. The best we have ever had.

Very disappointed that they changed owners. The orient was the best and nothing compared to it. I?ve been a customer for a long... time and The orient was my go to?. Not anymore. The food isn?t good they drastically changed everything and only for the worse.It?s pretty awful actually! The sauce m, the rice just everything was bad.
