This place is the best!! I haven't had THIS much fun at an establishment in a long time!! I love the character of this place!!... Friendly staff, GREAT food and I can't say enough about the live music! We were there on Thursday evening for Steve and JoePiano Show...these guys are really great and know how to carry a crowd. The Flora-Bama is a great place to get drinks and hang out at the beach! It's on the AL/FL border on the FL side. We hung out... at the beach behind the Flora-Bama for several hours until 730pm. We brought our own umbrella but you can rent chairs and anumbrella for what appeared to be $40 but the guy was picking them all up at approx 5pm and we didn't leave until 730pm. Wedidn't eat any food there but they serve food and usually have LIVE entertainment also among other things but things were prettyquiet when we were there. We went the 3rd week of September 2022 and it was not crowded at all so I'm happy we chose that timeof year to go but just know that less is going on when you don't go during PEAK season. Read more

5 ?? The views are amazing, it?s a very cool atmosphere and feeling on the state(s) border. The food was great, and the shrimp... was actually some of the best I?ve ever had. We loved this spot! Inside the decor was very much a beach bar. Lots of old timber wood, fun decor all over the walls and... ceiling, a few 30' stands of donated bras draped over wire, and a few bar areas on multiple levels. Live music 2:00-?? In anintimate setting upstairs. Not blasting loud, just a guy playing guitar. The outside patio is covered some and open air, too.There are some tables out on a sandy area. We visited on a Tuesday afternoon and were entertained with free bingo in the openpatio. Lots of laughs from the crowd as the bingo caller had a very sharp wit about him. The gift shop has a ton of temptingsouvenirs. The bar sits right on the Alabama-Florida line, hence the name. It's a novelty but my financial side wonders to whichstate it's paying taxes. Read more
