Came here for lunch and the boom boom shrimp was amazing. I also ordered the shrimp and crab chowder soup and salad. The was... fresh and delicious. Even though it was lunch time and they were busy my food came out fast. I think I found a great lunch spot! Read more

Reminds me of the TARDIS...it is bigger on the inside than the outside. Do not be put off by exterior of restaurant. It is very... nice inside, white cloth tablecloths. Unpretentious and excellent, the Fishing Hole is the complete opposite of a tourist trap. Tucked into a small strip mall, small... interior with few dozen seats. This was probably one of the best all around meals I've had in a while and even added severalbest bites to my list. They had the best cheese grits, the best hush puppies and the best tartar sauce I've ever tasted. Prettyphenomenal. I had the blackened Grouper and my party had the fried flounder and tilapia. Everyone agreed that their food wasamazing. I really can't remember the last time I ate at a restaurant and everyone at the table was impressed. Read more
