Came to the pub today while visiting my dad, who raves about this place and their food. It did not disappoint. They had a daily... special today of a house burger with peppercorn gravy, bacon, and 2 onion rings on it. It was incredible. Burger was cookedperfectly. The fries I got with it were also hot and definitely NOT frozen (like some past reviews say), and very tasty! Alsogot a side of gravy that was great as well. My wife got the personal nachos that were a very generous portion and she alsoenjoyed. Sat down and received service within 5 minutes. Drinks and food came quick as well. Granted, 4pm on a Monday. Ordered dry ribs and they we great. Not out of a bag. Made in house. Best part was they were garnished with onion rings lol
First time there tonight. We waited forever for our food. Waitress said it was because of a big table before us (there were no... big tables there). The manager approached my husband and was very snippy (like how dare us be upset for waiting 40 mins). Toldus they would give a discount - took $3 off a $40 bill. I went with a group of friends to enjoy an evening of music trivia. My beer tasted like the lines hadn't been cleaned in a... really long time ( I work in the industry.). When we first walked in, they treated my friend who was in a wheelchair with somuch disrespect. We asked for a different server because Tara, the server, was drunk and flashing her breasts and dancing ontables being incredibly unprofessional. My favorite pub in Penticton. If you want the best burger in town, order the Cooper Mug Burger. I always have to take half... home.. HUGE, fresh beef and all the fixing. Everything on the menu is great. Amazing staff. Love all the servers. They all seemto remember you and your drink order. This was my first time at this place. We went in around 6:00 for dinner, they had a few tables. We sat down at a table waitress... saw us come in but took her 15-20min to bring us menus and asking us what to drink. The place was very cold inside felt likethat the a/c was still on. It's the middle of November turn on the heat. The service was not great. it was like she nevercared. no smile, no personality it was like she didn't care.
