Went with 3 friends. The 2 who ordered chicken fajitas were very pleased. The 1 who ordered a mixed seafood dish was delighted.... I ordered a chicken enchilada/Chile relleno combo. It was totally good. Waitstaff kept drinks and tortilla chips coming. Bothsalsas were great. Good experience. Would go back. Read more

This place is like my abuelas kitchen! It's small, been around forever, and the food, just like the owner is wonderful! I always... feel welcomed here, and they always do their best to give over the top, friendly service! I have eaten just about everything onthe menu over the course of time, and There has been nothing on the menu that isn't FANTASTIC! ????. I always love visiting andtheir margaritas are amazing! This is a special place for me and if you visit, it might be one for you too! Read more

Anymore it's hard to want to go out, everywhere we have gone is trash anymore past several times, but really glad we swung by... here tonight. Living in the area for 20 years, I have only been here once before, and only for lunch during the daytime whileworking close for the city. Absolutely stellar food, stellar drinks, and stellar service, all something we really cannot and donot get anymore. Stopping by Carolina's recently, it was garbage, mariscos over on 75th and cactus was garbage, and really hardto find anything better than Federico's these days. This might be the new spot though, everything is super affordable, evenFederico's is more expensive for a burrito, and no comparison for what you get vs. Don Lencho's. Their margaritas are stellartoo, all regular drinks are less than 5 bucks! Congrats local business, I'm glad you guys are still here and keeping it real, and real tasty. We are already planning to be back. Read more

Two people for Sunday late lunch. I had chorizo and scrambled eggs. The chorizo, eggs and tortillas were not very good. My... Wife had chilie relleno which she said was good. There you go batting 50%. I will not be back. Read more

Got there at 11 am when they opened. The menudo tasted watered down. Asked us if we wanted corn or flour tortillas, we had to... ask for bread. Normally the bread is buttered and toasted, we just got plain toasted bread. My husband ordered a shrimp cocktailas he always does. ( usually delicious.) This time it tasted like tomato sauce was thrown in there with some shrimp and verylittle vegetables. I personally would have sent it back but my husband didn't want to fuss, so he ate it. Read more

Automatically loses a star for not having WiFi. It's 2022, not 2012! Second time I've been here. First was 10 years ago for... Happy Hour. That time they didn't have beers that were on their menu and their chips tasted like they came out of a bag! Ireturned for National Tequila Day. Had shrimp enchiladas, very good. I asked no beans, double rice. My plate had beans, theyquickly swapped it out. Chips were a little warm, quickly turned to below room temperature. Salsa was good. Wait staff was good, price reasonable. I don't have a need to return soon. Maybe I'll wait another 10 years? Read more

This the best place in Peoria that I've found for authentic and affordable Mexican food. My family and I tried this place out... last night and we were so impressed. Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious, the staff were very friendly, and therestaurant was beautifully decorated and clean. We will be returning in the future. Read more
