Have been in here on a couple of Sundays recently. I love Thai food and theirs is good. I always like to take the leftovers... home as they taste a lot better the second day. I've tried the sausage fried rice, drunken noodles, Pad Thai, and coconutshrimp and all are delicious. Try a Chai Tea! Read more

4 of us visited Sala Thai Peoria for the first time. Disappointed it was not as good as the Phoenix location. All of the orders... came out one at a time with the last order arriving about 10 minutes after the first dish was served. Food was not as tasty asthe Phoenix location. Maybe it was a bad day? With that in mind we will give it a second try in a few weeks. Read more

I?ve been on a quest for the best chicken phad se ew in the area and after trying a few duds at other places this was the BEST... I?ve ever had. It was flavorful, not dry and had plenty of chicken and veggies. I can?t wait to come back. My husband had thechicken phad Thai and said it was nothing like any he has had before. The sauce was very different?but mine was so good I?mgiving 5 stars ?? Read more

I felt like eating something spicy and noodles. This was the closest to my job. I got the Pai Thai with a spicy level 3 (1-5)... and chicken. $10.95. Was pretty good and spicy for sure served it with a few bean spouts and some thin chicken pieces. Overallit was good. The spiciness over powered the taste. But still tasty. I would rate a 2 1/2 out of 5 being the best. I would'veliked more chicken and bean sprouts. The quantity is generous ???? Read more

First time visitors. Food was really good and I like that they ask how spicy you want your food on a scale of 1 to 5 with 5... being the hottest. I got a 3 and while I could taste the spice, it was not hot; while my sons 4 had some heat to it. I woulddefinitely recommend for anyone that likes asian cuisine. One of the best asain restaurants in the area with good pricing fortheir dishes. The service was excellent as well. Read more

I love Thai food and am a foodie for sure. Based on the Reviews, I decided to try Sala Thai, I was expecting much better. ... Sadly, I should've followed my instincts when I pulled up outside and it looked so dark, I thought the place is closed or notthere anymore. Upon entering, it's also quite dark inside, warm temp, and smelled like a sewer. ???? There were just a coupletables dining in and they left soon after, making me the only diner in this place. The server was more interested in hanging outwith the other staff and couldn't even tell me which dish the photo on the menu was. I decided to try the Fresh Rolls withShrimp, not too bad. I had to request peanut sauce as it came with a soy based type of sauce. I also ordered the Spicy GreenBeans with Shrimp. Menu description says it's in a Bold Chili Paste, wasn't quite what I expected, beans were barely cooked andin a soupy type of sauce. They were kind enough to try and cook them a bit more, still not great. Tasted like boiled green beanswith a broth poured over. Shrimp was good and everything was fresh, so that's a plus. It was a very uncomfortable experience andunenjoyable as well. Especially when spending nearly $26 with tax+tip on lunch. Maybe it depends on what you order???? and ifyou order take out instead of dining in, you're probably better off. As for me, I won't be back. There's better Thai in thearea. Read more
