Here's my story. The first time I had their chicken pad thai 3 years ago, it was like WOW HELLO that's the best pad thai I've... had in Peoria. So I took some family there and some friends another time. And both times tmfs (too much fish sauce). So Istopped eating there. AND THEN THERE WAS TODAY when I had a deal through door dash and decided to give em a chance years later -THAT'S THE CHICKEN PAD THAI I'M TALKING ABOUT!!! ???????????? 4 stars until proven reliably delicious. I arrived to pick up my order and the waitress (a blonde woman with glasses) rushed me my ticket , threw the pen and walked... off. 15 minutes went by and I tried to ask about the status of my order and the waiter(a young asian looking guy) picked upreceipts, pretending to be busy, to avoid helping me at the counter. My food was done, and the woman threw my bag on thecounter and walked away.. This was funny, because another woman came in after me and received hospitality that I didn't (smiles,manners, etc.). I will be eating at Ming Shee and ChinaTown from now own.. this place doesnt deserve anyones money or time! Read more
I was unimpressed with Asia Grill. It has great ratings, so I was expecting more. I got the chicken fried rice and it was... pretty bland. The rice was mushy and not very flavorful. The chicken was scarce and tasteless as well. Plus, the takeout was inpaper containers, which I also dislike. The entire meal seemed oily and underwhelming. Read more
Review Date: October 12th, 2014 A fancy version of your typical Chinese restaurant. Asia Grill offers everything you can find... at your typical ?hole in the wall? Chinese Restaurant, but more upscale. Now, that is not to slam either this place or any otherChinese place. It was just nice to eat at a more restaurant-style Chinese place than the quick grab-n-go places that areeverywhere. The food was pretty good and will run you about $8-11 a person, which is what I consider fair. The service wasnice, portions were generous and the restaurant was really nice. Overall, if you want to eat Chinese but don?t want the ?takeout? variety, hit up Asia Grill. My friends and I really enjoyed it? and so did our bellies! Read more
This restaurant came highly recommended from locals, so we gave it a shot. Ordered lettuce cups for an appetizer then chicken... pad thai, panang curry chicken and pineapple fried rice. Lettuce cups were terrific, a little messy but that's to be expected,great presentation and tasted great. Then our entrees began to arrive. Chicken pad thai and panang curry had a very strong fishtaste to them. Not impressed. The pineapple fried rice was great! Big chunks of pineapple and whole shrimp in it. Wow! Amazing! The quality of the food is up there with the best we've had anywhere in the country and we have dined in most of... the 48 States in the last several years! Service was excellent! Food was horrible. I ordered Peanut Butter Chicken and it was literally a cut up chicken patty with watered down peanut butter... sauce served on the side. We had three orders of fried rice and they all had a funky taste like they were bad. Potstickers wereslimy. Crab Rangoon was the only thing good. We will never order from here again. $78 wasted!
