I'm from California where we have Chipotles everywhere. I take back anything I ever said about anything from any of them. The... Peoria, IL location was the worst Chipotle I've ever been in. Those poor kids had no support. The place was gloomy, dirty,portion sizes were abysmal, they were out of everything with no time to stock. The manager of this store needs to go. Went in to the Peoria location today at about 5:45pm. 3 people were sitting and eating and I am fairly certain all were... employees and there were 2 employees that I saw behind the registers. We walked in and looked around and quickly decided betweenthe two of us, quietly, that the restaurant was absolutely disgusting. All of the tables were filthy and had crumbs etc on themso even if we wanted to eat inside we couldn't. There was a broom and a pile of swept crumbs and food immediately in front ofus on our way to the register. We quickly looked a around and decided that if it's that horrible where the customers should beable to sit and eat, what must be going on in the kitchen. Between the two of us....and quietly, again, we turned to leaved andbasically were like..nope! As we turned around one of the EMPLOYEES loudly said "bye!". We left. Went all the way across town toget our Mexican food fix. I won't be ordering from here again knowing the disgusting state of the actual restaurant...I normallyorder through a delivery service and that won't be happening again. My boyfriend and I have been working in the restaurantindustry our entire lives, I know how this review could hurt a restaurant and its employees and I rarely review if somethingisn't right....this was really something you need to know about and I'm truly concerned for the health of those who order hereand get it delivered and have no clue of the absolute cesspool this establishment is. Not sure what?s happened with this location. But it?s getting worse and worse. Surprised I haven?t gotten food poisoning at this... point. My visit yesterday: First bite of my bowl: HAIR. Long hair? They were out of guac. Go to get my drink. No ice. Nostraws?! I waited 15-20 min to even get my order taken. For me to find out I can?t eat my meal and lost my appetite when I gothome. As I was leaving they were putting a sign on the door saying something about being out of something else and not takingorders besides to go orders?! Just ridiculous. Read more
Whoever is running this place needs to really reconsider their business practices. There is garbage everywhere. None of the... tables are clean. The food is cold. And instead of cleaning up the employees are sitting in the middle of the restaurant playingwith their phones. There is not a single customer in line. Disgusting. This used to be a nice Chipotle but I'll never step footin here again. There's literally food thrown all over the checkout area and they're not even bothering to clean it up. I am not coming to this location ever again. I ordered through the app. Picked up my order opened up my bowl and was wondering... where my food was at. Went back into the store to ask for the bowl to be remade. Was told that is our portion size. I have beengoing to chipotle for over 10 years and have never seen a bowl like this before. Super busy night and all of the workers there were super kind even with the crowd and all the orders! Even though it was slammed... you could tell the employees were doing their best to help everyone as quickly as possible. I wish I caught the cashiers namebecause she was great. Read more
