This used to be my favorite Chinese food in Peoria. I don't know what happened but I went today and the rice was flavorless. The... orange chicken was chewy. Went in today and won?t be going back. They had raised the price which I was okay with. But today I noticed the changed the... plates they were using. Now serving less. For what I paid for 3 plates and 2 egg rolls, I could of got more food more optionsand 2 free egg rolls for 3 dollars more and delivery. Read more
I always used to eat there when I was a kid. Since the old owner left the business to her daughter, things have gotten... worse. 1. They started to charge more for the food. I remembered not long ago a Super Combo was $7.50 now as of 5/8/19 theSuper Combo costs $9.10. 2. They now charge you for a refill. They used to give free refills, but since the new owner came,now you need to pay close to a dollar for one refill, which by the way, TOO MUCH ICE. 3. The food gets you sick. Even if youwatch what you eat, you will still get Diarrhea. 4. Worst Chinese food I?ve ever had honestly. I?m a vegetarian so I don?t speak for the meats. However the lo mein has a terrible... flavor and is way too oily, the fried rice has no flavor at all, the crab Rangoon tastes old and is way too sweet, the sweet andsour sauce is tastes like it?s just high fructose corn syrup and red coloring. And the vegetables are not even salted oranything at all and are not even steamed all the way through. They have chicken egg rolls and veggie egg rolls listed on themenu but didn?t even have veggie egg rolls available which hopefully was just bad timing. Very nice lady, I?m assuming she?s theowner, so I?m sorry to leave this review but I?d hope that this is means for them to step their game up because it?s not evenedible. And I spent $9 on some crab Rangoon and a side of fried rice that I could only force myself to eat half of, and mystomach was bubbling all day afterwards. My first time at the mall in years decided to try this place for lunch ordered the Super combo. Rice dry soy sauce didn't help.... Got the chicken it was very good. The beef was OK. The third meat that was supposed to come with my purchase I didn't get it.The young lady didn't give me a receipt but she charged me for the super combo. Really nice never again! Read more
