Had a birthday dinner for my sister and the full experience was great. Loved the ambiance and food was surprisingly tasteful.
Service was great, steaks were cooked perfect, potatoes Yummy & Birthday slice of cheese cake ???? ?.Not crazy about the Diane... sauce or rock hard bread & my Oysters Rockefeller which is my favorite thing that I came for looked nothing like the onlinepictures posted by multiple guest were made wrong no sauce & the spinach was so charred we had to pick most of it off!???? There's a reason why this steakhouse has been in business since the '60s. Quality, decor, menu offerings and service. From the... moment we walked in to the moment we left, everything was great. Definitely the best meal I've had in Peoria. If you likebourbon, grab a pour of Buffalo Trace and during the meal, I suggest a glass of Decoy pinot noir. Perfect way to pair with anexcellent filet and baked potato. Finish with the turtle cheesecake. Fantastic and highly recommend! Read more
Our first time here and it was by far AMAZING!! Our waitress I believe her name was Gala or Kayla not sure the music was kinda... loud but everyone was super polite and respectful! Went to Jim?s tonight for my wife and I anniversary, it was by far amazing. We got there a little early before our reservation... that was no problem at all we were seated immediately. The hostess was very friendly and upbeat with a beautiful smile. I hadcalled prior to see if they could set up special as a surprise for our anniversary night, they assured me they could dosomething special with chocolate covered strawberries at no extra charge, they truly made our evening one we will foreverremember. The food was amazing the service was great and live piano was a nice touch too. Great atmosphere, nice ambiance. Willdefinitely return. Nice little spot for downtown Peoria. 50+ year old, classic supper club and steak house. Tons of history with hundreds of celebrity photos on the wall who have... visited over the years. Steaks had great flavor, cooked perfectly, big portions, great value and atmosphere. Excellent wineselection and specials. Jim's Steak House in Peoria is a 100% must visit. Read more
