Review Date: July 7th, 2013 Pizza and Movie rentals?! Whaaaa? Word on the street was that a new pizza place opened up next to... a Family Video in Peoria. The same word on the street said that the pizza was delicious. With needing no further encouragement,a friend and I decided to see what the buzz was all about. We pulled up to Marco?s Pizza and noticed how small it was. Beingattached to a Family Video, it made sense. But upon entering, we were greeted with not only friendly people working but nowhereto sit. Both Matt and I had a nice moment of? oh crap? what do we do? After discussing it, we decided to grab a pizza anywaysand head back to his place to eat it. After we poured over the menu, we decided to get either a medium or large and customizehalf of it to each of our liking. His side was something similar to a Deluxe and mine was a BBQ Chicken. We also got the crusttopped with garlic butter as that was a new and unique sounding menu item. As we waited for our food to cook, we took a ganderaround and noticed that you could also rent some movies while waiting for your food to cook. How ingenious is that. Marco?sseems to be connected to Family Video, so you can grab the latest release while grabbing dinner. After looking over the moviedeals posted in Marco?s, our pizza was ready and we hit the road back to Matt?s. Unfortunately, it was quite the drive back toMatt?s as he lived two towns away. We quickly darted inside and grab some cans of coke to go with the pizza. As we dug in to oursides of the pizza, it was evident that the drive was detrimental to the temperature of the pizza. While it wasn?t cold, itwasn?t fresh out of the oven either. Cold pizza doesn?t bother me but it does lose some of that pizzazz and flavor as it coolsdown. Very rude cashier poss a manager but not sure. The girl working was arguing with another customer. As far as i could tell the... customer was in the right. Pizza wasnt all that great coupled with that drama i wont be back. Read more

The pizza is 5 ? the service and delivery is definitely not anymore. Ordered my pizzas 2 hours early so I wouldn't have to sit... here, over half and hour after they were supposed to be here, still waiting and watching "Prepping" on the order status. Calledand basically got the "sorry we're busy..." not embarrassing at all to my house of friends over for movie night. My last 2 or 3orders I had to go pick up my own pizzas. From Chicago and have fairly high standards. As far as getting a good pizza in Peoria this is definitely one of the better ones... even though it?s a chain. My one complaint is both times I?ve ordered they didn?t have all the toppings I wanted. Seems to methey need to get a better handle on their stock. My last point is to people who are complaining about the price. Freshingredients aren?t cheap. Some of us want a nice pizza rather than an inexpensive mediocre one. Read more
On Nov. 23rd my daughter and I went to Marco's on Glen to order a pizza, guy at the register took my order and money and went... back to make pizza's. He did not wash his hands or put on gloves prior to preparing pizza's after handling my money. I askedhim to put on gloves while preparing my pizza and there was another female employee working in the back and was offended by myrequest. She started cussing at us and told us to leave "HER" store, simply because I requested for the employee to put ongloves while preparing pizza's. Her attitude and disposition was unbelievable! I will NEVER go back! Last but not least femaleemployee called the cops because after she was cussing at us my daughter went off on her. We left the store and waited outdoors for the police to arrive. Police stated they Marco's was not going to file charges, I was in AWWW at this point, theywill not file charges. My daughter and I did not do anything wrong, I just requested for the employee to put on gloves. Marco'sManager please view your camera for complete coverage of this incident. WORST customer service ever! My daughter and Ideserved an apology. Female employee should be fired! Looks like this incident has happened before on May 5th 2022, per googlereviews.
