Last night is the last time I go to Poboys. We go there multiple times throughout the year with our friends and family.... Therefore, we went for my boyfriends 30th birthday as he likes the food. We arrived and were sat outside immediately. We orderedour appetizers and food quickly and waited over an hour to get our 2 appetizers for 6 people. Unfortunately, we waited anotherhour and then had the staff come out and tell us they ran out of noodles. Which we understand can happen when a place is busy, but to wait 2 hours to notify us that one person who ordered the pasta won?t get there food is upsetting. The individual thatdidn?t get his food was the birthday person. We were told the rest of the food was being plated and would be out in the next 5.Therefore we waited and then 10 minutes later the waitress provides the check with the 2 appetizers. We had our whole familythere. We arrived at 6pm and left around 8pm. Our grandma didn?t even get any food as she didn?t want any appetizers and statedshe would wait for her food to come out. She waited 2 hours to leave with nothing from Poboys. The lack of service was appallingand to have to find a place to eat at 8pm on a Saturday that wasn?t already full and booked up was extremely difficult. Theyshould have provided the food we ordered that they did have available, but they stated they hadn?t even started cooking it yet.I am absolutely never going to recommend this place to any of my business applicants or friends ever again. Worst service I?veever had and to make matters worse, it was a place we have recommended to friends, family, military members and businessapplicants. It seems there has maybe been new management or changes to the servers, but the servers shouldn?t be lying to theirpaying customers. We paid for our 2 appetizers and left. Having a business that staffs members with integrity is everything! Ifyou forgot to put our order in tell us that and give us the courtesy of notifying your customer of your Read more

I come here often and normally it's a great place to grab food. So I decided to come here for my 30th birthday. But tonight, was... extremely disappointing and I will probably be my last. Nor can i recommend it to friends anymore. My group (6 of us total)waited around 90 minutes to be be told my meal couldn't be cooked because they ran out of noodles. Wasn't a huge deal, but Iwasn't going to order anything else because of how long it was taking to receive the rest of our food and I was content afterthe appetizers we had. We were told the rest of the food was being put on plates, so we asked if the check could be brought outwith the food. Then the waitress brought the check out about 10 minutes later, with only the appetizers on it, to our surprise. We asked why the other food wasn't on there, and she mentioned because it hasn't been cooked yet. So after wasting close to 2hours, we left without dinner. Our extremely poor experience ruined our night and for half of the group, their first experienceat po boys. If I could rate my experience a 0, I would. Read more

Today I came here for lunch on my day off and it was like a little mini New Orleans vacation. Even had a delicious Hurricane. So... good. Their Cajun potato salad is unbelievably good. Will definitely be coming back soon. Every time I come here it's fantastic. Read more

Food needed seasoning, not just salt. I ordered the blacksmith pasta. It was creamy but lacked any real flavor. The chicken... tasted like it was boiled. I took it home and added my own creole seasoning to the leftovers. Portions were on the smaller side.Went with my boyfriend on a Saturday evening. He ordered the gumbo and wasn't impressed at all. It's tomato based not made witha roux. Gator bites were ok but heavily breaded. Don't think we will go back. Very bland for attempting to be New Orleans stylefood. Read more

The food was really good especially the jambalaya croquettes! Wait staff was attentive and made great recommendations. It did... take a bit to get our food though and the fries were cool when they arrived. Can't wait to try the gumbo, jambalaya, and redbeans and rice next time! Also bread podding omg! Read more

I was already familiar with their original location when I frequented there back in 2007ish. I walked in at 4pm the same time... the kitchen opens. Most of the indoor tabled were filed with other customers with still some seating at the bar and their beergarden. I ordered several togo items and sat at the bar to try Amber beer from the tap. It was cold with a nice head. Lookingaround I found it to be Relaxing and colorful atmosphere. The bartender was quick to clean up and wipe down as quests left.Overall the place looked very clean and well kept. The food was just stating to come out and it looked and smelt amazing!Everyone was working well together to get the food out and attend to the needs of the guests. My food came out fast and I headedhome. At home we all sat down to try it out. It was very nicely packaged with utensils and extra napkins. The Catfish waskiller, fries nicely seasoned, chicken bites looked good tho the wife said they were a little hot for mild, but good never theless. The gumbo was a little dry with the rice but very good never the less. Overall, I love the new place! Back in my drinkingdays I would have changed my mailing address and set up shop right at the bar!
