Good pasta and meatballs. They had a good chocolate cake, though it was really pricey. Would go again, but not for a while due... to how expensive it was. Read more

This is a Peoria favorite of mine for really authentic Italian food. Although the restaurant is small, the atmosphere is cozy... and warm. Service was really good the evening we were there. Anything on the menu will be delicious. Portions are ample. Pricesmoderate. Reservations are strongly recommended. Eat in or take out. In a strip mall near Jeffrey Allen. Ample parking. Hope youenjoy as much as we have. Read more

My family loves this place. We've been going since I was a kid. Throughout the years the food has always maintained its... high-quality. I'm not a huge wine drinker, but my parents are and they love the selection here. The staff have always beenincredibly friendly and knowledgeable. My whole family was on first name basis with a few waitresses years back when we camemore regularly. We're not in Peoria as frequently, but we still love coming to Rizzi's. Read more

I had the shrimp alfredo and ranch salad and the alfredo had too much onion in it the whole dish was ruined. The ranch on the... salad also was made with too much mayo and that was the only taste. My husband enjoyed his meal which is the only reason I wouldrate it 3 instead of 1. Onions do not go in alfedo, for sure not that much Read more

I ordered 3 pizzas and 2 pasta dishes for pickup at 5:30 today for my daughter's birthday. At 5:15, I received an email stating... the dinner was ready for pickup. I went to the bar and was told by a woman caring for the togo orders (not kindly-my Mom wasquite upset) that I was too early and it would be 5:30. After I told her I had an email pick-up notice, she offered me water formy wait. I went to my car and came back in at 5:35 to be told that it still wasn't done. At 5:50 I received the dinners, missingthe side salad that accompanied a pasta dish. The flavors were great, but the pizzas were hard, dry, and crust was inedible. At$163 (currently I've been charged twice for this order...pending my bank looking into it) it was a little disappointing...thewait (especially since i pre-ordered and paid at 9:30 a.m.) was fine, but with that, the double charge to my credit card, andpizza issues it was a bit much. Sadly, we will probably not be back and the other families that joined us weren't impressed. (Iedited this to drop it to one star after my bank called to tell me my card had been hit twice with two differentcharges....sigh, I have no time for this mess.) Read more

Aug 2022 update - been back in person twice. Once was a five star with Marilyn. Second time was two stars - service was so... slow. They were pretty full though we got a table right away. They ran out of bread. For the first time in a long time foodwas just okay. Got the Chicken Rollatini and the chicken was great, but it was missing the sauce - well, there was a small bitbut that is always the best part. Other diner had just okay Chicken Parmesan. This was kind of a blow because it otherwise hasbeen such a favorite. And with drinks and tip for two it hit $150 so not a simple decision to just for sure come back, esp. asMarilyn ordinarily doesn't work Thursdays ... but this is was both service and kitchen. We'll see. (Fall 2020 Yeah! Times havegotten so much better with one of my favorite restaurants now open with full menu for curbside pickup and some outdoor dining.Immediately had to order the Chicken Rollatini and Chicken Parmesan. Both come with their great house salad and dressing andthe bread. It was all individually wrapped and prices just as before. Easy and safe to pickup. Noticed one of our favoriteservers, Marilyn was working the outside tables! This has always been a favorite and many of the other dishes equally greatincluding the picatta and the Osso Bucco. Highly recommend! ) Read more

This is definitely some of the best Italian food in Peoria, but the food is not the reason I gave this place five stars. I came... in 30 minutes before close after getting off work late and the bartender greeted me for food and drinks. The bartender made mydinner enjoyable and made me feel like I?ve been coming there regularly for years! From a fellow business owner, 10/10 service! Read more

Rizzi's is a quaint place. Don't let it's location on the strip mall fool you. The restaurant is very small, but we got a seat... right away. We weren't greeted. You walk in and seat yourself (as first-timers we weren't aware). The food was very good, buteverything took a long time. Expect to spend over an hour here. The service wasn't exceptional, but it wasn't terrible. Otherthan that, the food was very good. Their house Italian salad dressing was fantastic. It was very flavorful and possibly the bestI've had. The pasta and sauce was fresh and the chicken was crispy. If you have the time, it's worth a try. Read more
