We REALLY wanted to like this place and have been so excited to try. Sadly, we were let down. WAY down. The "fried rice" was... basically their white rice with soy sauce. The spicy Szechwan tofu was awful mush! It was like they didn't drain it or sear itor anything. Not a hint texture, rather blobby. The kung pao chicken wasn't any better. Not moist, tough, bland. Omg this is officially my most favorite Chinese restaurant. Usually the Chinese food I've eaten in the States tend to be... sweeter, but this restaurant served hot and spicy dishes. I went here after seeing the amount of authentic Chinese food on the menu and I was not disappointed. The Szechwan Style Tofu... was delicious. Spicy and creamy tofu. I've also tried the Couple's Sliced Beef in Chili Sauce which was a similar flavor profilewith meat and would order either of those dishes again. The Ants Climbing Trees is a delicious umami bomb-- tastes like acomfort food. I could order the scallion pancakes every time I go. I recommend this restaurant to everyone! Read more
