Long wait but worth it for the price and quality of the food. Only downside was my server completely forgot half of my... breakfast...I then reminded her that I was missing a half order of biscuits and gravy as we were eating. She came back 10minutes later with a bill and the missing food on the bill. I told her to take it off which she did but that was my only realgripe. Eggs and sausage were great just wish I could've tried more! Read more

Great family restaurant! Good food! My favorite is the skillet breakfast! My husband loves the Hearty Breakfast, cause he has a... big appetite! I'm glad that they have turkey bacon or patties instead of pork and beef! Read more

The staff, waitress (Kim) and Bobby (Manager) were absolute tops. Every restaurant should have a Kim. Food came quickly and... was very good. First time going there and will definitely be back. Everyone there seemed to know each other, and I even raninto someone I knew 20+ years ago. Felt like a small town diner. The biggest downside was the pancake tasted like it had beenmade on the same grill as something with garlic, peppers and onion. Back of house was good but may want to dedicate some grillsto specific foods. Read more

First time visit for me, but have eaten next door at Schooners many times. My buddy Darryl and I decided to drop in after church... services Sunday morning. The place was super crowded, but we were able to get seats at the counter right away. Took a good 45minutes to finally get our meals, but that was no big deal, since they were overpowered by the surge of customers. I was toldlater by one of the employees that it's this way every Sunday and Wednesday. This restaurant has been in the community for manyyears and evidently many people are very well pleased. If you are looking for something fancy you should keep on truck'n. Thisisn't a fancy steakhouse. Reminded me of the old Raedenes in Creve Coeur which closed years ago. No better neighborhoodrestaurant than Raedenes was. Anyway I had the biscuits and gravy with one scrambled egg. It was ok but nothing to write homeabout. My buddy was happy, since all he cares about is a cheeseburger, fries and Mountain Dew. He did like one waitress, sincehe tipped her 10 dollars and she wasn't even our waitress! I felt great dinning here, but many won't. They have a very steadyloyal customer base and God willing it will continue to grow. Read more

Gabby? is known for its all day breakfast and they did not disappoint. I had the cheese and mushroom omelette which was bursting... with mushrooms and stuffed with melted cheddar cheese. I opted for the grits with brown sugar, and the grits were creamy with afirm texture. My mother had the senior burger, which she declared the perfect size and my brother had the gargantuan porktenderloin, which was crispy on the outside yet tender and juicy on the inside. Wonderful service, friendly staff, and lots ofconvenient parking. The price was very reasonable as for 4 people total, it was slightly less than $40. Read more

A nice, family run breakfast restaurant with many menu options. Service is solid and the food was fresh to order. When in... Peoria, definitely check this place out to start your day! Really enjoyed it. Read more

Review Date: September 19th, 2014 A whirlwind of a visit. The day before, day of, and the day after visiting Gebby?s was the... most whirlwind of times in 2014 for me. This breakfast was on the day before my cousin?s wedding. It was a mad dash to get somegrub, set up the VFW for a wedding and also rehearse the wedding. Andy, my cousin, raved so much about Gebby?s that we decidedto come here on wishes of the groom. The interesting thing about Gebby?s is that it?s two restaurants in one building. Whilethat might not be weird on its own, the fact that Gebby?s is the breakfast side of things and Schooner?s is the lunch/dinnerside. After deciding to go to Gebby?s, we got most of the wedding group crammed in a few cars and headed there. Once we gotthere, we had to wait a few minutes for enough tables to empty so they could push them together for our large group. But, it wasa short wait considering there being about 10 of us. The jumbo table was ready for us. My cousin suggested a few things to tryout and I ended up getting their biscuits and gravy with a side eggs and bacon. Due to the sheer amount of food ordered, it didtake awhile for it to come out. That is to be expected but the overall wait wasn?t that long at all. When our waitress set ourfood down in front of us, I nearly died of laughter. My side of eggs and bacon was arranged in a smiley face. I hadn?t eventaken a bite yet and I was already loving this place. It?s little touches like this that let you know that you are in for atreat. I can thankfully say that the food had that touch as well. Each bite had that taste as if grandma made it. I rememberwanting a second round but that was out of the question for this wedding group. We had things to do and places to go. If youare in the Peoria area and are needing some good breakfast during breakfast hours, Gebby?s won?t leave you disappointed? unlessyou get there too late and only Schooner?s is open. Read more
