Great local coffee shop/cafe that also offers a huge range of bulk loose leaf teas & in-house roasted coffee beans. Love... stopping by to check out their seasonal drinks & pick up something to eat. Food and atmosphere was great, understand that you are busy and as a customer expect a wait time. How about, ?I am sorry we are... running really behind and it will be 20 minutes?. The food was great, however the woman working the front window could not have been ruder or less friendly. As the face of the... restaurant, she was not pleasant, nice or representing the restaurant well. The food was great, however the burrito didn?t comewith salsa, so it was a plain, dry burrito and they wanted to charge for a side of salsa. The coffee was okay, not very strongbut decent coffee. Horrible, horrible experience. The lady at the front was condescending and acted like I had no right being in the store.... Meanwhile, when she helped another customer?s order, she was cheery and warm and welcoming - keep note that I was the only Asianamerican in the store. When I clicked on no tip, she scoffed visibly. Whatever your palatable preference be it Tea or Java, Leaves n' Beans Coffee is a beautiful establishment with a subtle... undergraduate collegial feel. I don't even drink coffee but the ambiance of this place hooked me. A friend wanted to stop so I wandered while he... coffied. There is a basement grotto reading room! And it seems Harry Potter themed. There may have been free Harry Potterglasses or I may have lightly stolen. I would drink coffee to hang out here but they have chai so I don't have to. I did try agiant oatmeal everything cookie and was impressed thier to-go ware was eco friendly. It was a cool, cozy shop with a no rushfeel and lots of corners to chill in with friends or zone out for your own zen. I made me happy. My friend says the coffee washot, fresh, and high quality. We purchase our roasted coffee from Leaves 'n Beans because I can get 1/2 caff in the flavors I love, and my husband can get his... full caff (NO flavors). Read more
