Food was good, side salad and bread basket were good, steaks are flirting with over seasoned, mushrooms were very salty. Only... negative was one person at our table finished their meal very quickly and the server started pushing dessert and bringing thebill while others still were in early/middle of meal and may have went the dessert/after dinner drinks route, but server hadalready written the table off and basically considered her job done, but there were lots of empty tables and no one waiting,ruined the end of the meal and we went out for dessert elsewhere. First time eating here since 2019 shut down. Great menu choices. Food was very good. Staff was excellent.
So disappointing. You would think with the restaurant as empty as it was the food would have been perfect. Only two out of six... meals were really edible. The walleye had so many bones in it that we didn't dare continue eating it. The special of the day hadsome kind of stake rolled around spinach and it was supposed to have a sauce that was the best. The steak could not even bechewed and had to be spit out and there was no sauce on it. Chicken was way overdone and not edible and the potatoes were cold.They wouldn't even melt the butter. Shrimp was chewy and inedible as well. Very disappointing since the last meal I had therewas great. I will not be returning because obviously they do not use quality control when serving and our waitress seemed lessthan enthusiastic to be helping us. Read more
This was my first visit to this restaurant. It was an upscale menu with lots of choices, some a bit spendy, and others very... reasonable considering the amount of food and the rich delicious flavors blended so well together... I had the Shrimp ScampiAlfredo over a penne pasta... with the loaded potato soup... so yummy! everyone in our party of four enjoyed their meals and theambience was great for visiting too. We would certainly remember this place again to try something else on the menu, and will beback for another opportunity for dining out... Read more
Came for dinner to celebrate my husband's b'date. We loved our food and cocktails. The service was good and fast, our food was... ready in less than 30 minutes. They serve salad or soup as entree included in your dish cost. The prices are fine for what youget. I do have to tell some of the cutlery looks really old. Read more
I was visiting Perham and had never eaten at CACTUS. I was seated, and Hannah, my server, was polite, friendly and... professional.
