We hosted a wedding weekend here and if there?s one word to describe our experience, it?s hospitality. Over a year of planning,... Marilee and Richard knocked it out of the park. They were always receptive to communication, accommodated so many requests, paidattention to the small details and more. Omg and the food? the taste, the presentation, the service. 15/10. Don?t be afraid toorder the chicken, our guests commented ?this isn?t typical wedding chicken!? Even for breakfast, it was hard to leave anythingon our plates. The rooms are comfortable and adorable. The ceremony space was amazing, loved all the outdoor spaces to hang outduring the weekend and exploring their kitchen garden. Would 1000% recommend to stay here, dine here, and host an event! Some great friends of ours chose this location for their wedding and reception. The property is beautiful. Everything was clean... and well manicured. I love that it?s surrounded by beautiful nature. The building itself is old, but extremely well maintained.The staff members were extremely friendly. The wedding was outdoors, and despite the chilly temperatures the patio had a nicebonfire and heat lamps. It was so relaxing to enjoy the beautiful surroundings with such a great heat source. WOW! I went to the most lovely wedding this weekend. If you are considering staying at the Inn at Weathersfield, these are my... highlights: BBQ Reception Dinner - A plus (The chocolate chip cookies and homemade ice cream sandwiches were yummy. I have aserious sweet tooth) Wedding Reception - The salad greens were freshly picked. The Burrata appetizer was delicious, and thesalmon was cooked perfectly. Owners/Staff - Kind, warm, welcoming, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Grounds/Inn -Charming and well-maintained Room - Romantic, super comfortable mattress, and most important - CLEAN! Dietary Restrictions - Asmall percentage of the guests were Vegan, and the kitchen was very accommodating. Complaints - NONE!! Read more
We booked an elopement package at the Inn and had a PERFECT small wedding. Marilee and Richard were incredibly kind, helpful,... and extremely accomodating - truly a joy to work with. The Inn is absolutely gorgeous and the food is phenomenal. All of ourguests had a great stay, and most importantly, we had the type of wedding I could only have dreamed about before. I?m absolutely blown away by the experience I had tonight for my anniversary dinner with my wife tonight. From our delicious... cheese plate appetizer, salad with expertly poached egg, and fantastic main course of peppercorn steak and my wife?s salmonexquisitely prepared. Seriously one of the best meals I have had in Vermont. And the cocktails were wonderful as was our verysweet and knowledgeable server. Dinner Review. Great fun cocktails. Enough variety on the menu so that everybody is happy. Delicious fresh bread basket. Split a... salad. Split the hangar steak with their signature potato. Acorn squash was also super. Delicious and good value for thequality. Service is always great here. The wait staff is great. And the kitchen is excellent too. For example, our "split" steakcame served on 2 plates, with a full set up of their potatoes and vegetable. Did I mention the potatoes? Read more
Beautiful Inn with amazing atmosphere. Ownership is friendly and hospitable. The food is EXCELLENT! Breakfast is included in the... stay and is served personally. Rooms are cozy and clean. I cannot think of 1 thing to make this Inn any better. My husband and Iwould absolutely stay again. Highly recommended. Read more
I was so happy they were very accommodating I can only drink decaf coffee and all they had was regular and I asked the the new... owners if there was any way they could make me decaf and she said most certainly it was just the best experience ever Read more
