I recently stopped it while driving through the area. They still accommodated my order even though the kitchen had just closed.... The drink prices are great. We used to live around the corner and we loved the place. Since moving, we haven't found a bar tofill the void. We wish success to the new owners! Read more
the service wasn?t that bad but the plate of nachos i got, was absolutely atrocious- like i couldnt even eat it because how much... salt was on it. you can visibly see how much salt they put on my plate in the picture. like all those white chunks, are salt.and thats just what was under the nachos after i peeled them apart because how absolutely nasty it was to eat- like i cannotexpress it enough- even the salsa had a bunch of salt poured into it. We haven't been in a while, being from Owosso, but it crossed my mind how good their food was, so I talked my guys into doing... take out from there tonight. To say the food is good I'd doing it a disservice!!! The food was AMAZING!!! We each got asandwich, can't remember what my husband got, my son got a turkey with tater tots, and I got the Philly Steak wrap with tots,but because of my food allergies, I had to order it special, and they were SO GREAT about accommodating me!!! I also got my sonthe giant pretzel, to which his eyes grew big, and he said "Mom, you HAVE to eat some, it's HUGE! LOL!" I'd say that's asparkling review!!! Sitting down to eat my sandwich, and it was SO creamy and cheesy and PERFECT!!!! I could eat this twice aday- because I only eat twice lol- EVERY DAY!!!! THANKS YOU GUYS FOR EVERYTHING! we just tried cafe sports for the first time in 20 years. we are disappointed with ourselves that we didnt try this decades... sooner! The menu offers so many varied & appealing choices. The restaurant is easy to get to with plenty of parking, and easyto see from the road. We didnt dine in, we did carryout so I cant review the cleanliness, interior or wait staff. But the foodwas ready within the time specified, generous portion sizes, and all for just under $20. Cafe Sports beats chain restaurantshands down! The food was delicious! I got the loaded waffle fries. They are truly loaded with cheese, bacon & tomatos. Since wecarried out, I asked for ranch & bbq on the side so they wouldnt be soggier than necessary-plus I like to control how much bbqgoes on my food. Hubbs got the Philly Steak sandwich with tater tots. He ranked the sandwich a 9 out of 10 for taste &tenderness. Very generous sized sandwich and same for tater tots. Read more
Gotta go 5 stars for Cafe Sports bar restaurant. Service on a Tuesday night was spot on. Our waitress was friendly and great at... serving us. I ordered a burger cooked medium rare and it was done perfectly. Sad to say, however, most bar and grills struggleto get that right. We ordered Ahi tuna appetizer (who would have thought they'd have that on the menu in Perry...lol.) The Ahituna was very good with great flavor. The building itself is certainly dated, although, very clean with a good vibe. Restroomswere also clean of which is something I'm picky about. We'll definitely be back at some point. Oh.. they even have a couplefull size volleyball courts in the yard outside with outdoor seating. Read more
I ordered 3 tacos that had some sort of kitchen cleaner in them. No apology, no offer for replacement, had to ask to have them... taken off the bill. This was my fourth visit. The first visit was a dry pulled pork sandwich with overcooked mac-n-cheese. Took10 minutes to see the server again then waited another 10 minutes to get the missing bbq sauce. There were three other tables soit wasn't because they were busy. Second visit was an overpriced, overcooked, and underwhelming. Unusually order a medium-rareand expect a medium when I go anywhere. Got a very well done burger. The third visit was chicken strips that I'm pretty surewere cooked the night before. Rubbery on the inside but the sauces were good. I wouldn't have returned after the second visithad it not been for my boss paying for lunch. And, with limited lunch time having to reorder food that already takes 20+ minutesto get is unfortunately not an option. Read more
