We randomly found this place and walked in. We didn’t know this place from a...hole...in...the...wall On a serious note, I... have to strongly disagree with Jennifer Redinger’s 2 star review. It does state on the menu that the Wedge Salad uses romainelettuce. And to end your rant with “...would eat here again - because this is still the best restaurant in this area..” doesnot make any sense. We had the Rueben and the hole burger, both were fantastic! The French onion soup was perfect for the cold day, and the potato... horseradish soup was flavorful but not overpowering. Our waitress was great with the menu. Oh, and I'd suggest the hot chocolatewith whipped cream! Read more
Jacquie and Travis (owners and head chef) are terrific! They catered our wedding, and all of the food was delicious, from the... appetizers to the bread to each and every entree. Not only was the food amazing, but the presentation was beautiful, and theservice throughout the night was phenomenal. Their culinary skill and responsiveness to our vision helped create the exactwedding we wanted. Their commitment to community and locally resourced ingredients made it even that much better. Not what you would expect on the inside based on the interior! Very nice with a balanced menu. Meals came with bread and... tapenade. The bread seemed to be homemade but was a bit dense and the olive tapenade was very good. We had a margarita pizzaand the souvlaki chicken salad. Nice fancy restaurant! The prices felt high for the quantity of food. But you're also paying for a classy experience hard to... find in the area, and delicious local ingredients. I enjoyed the broccoli alfredo; broiled haddock was well cooked and seasonedtoo. Be ready to put down your name and phone number for contact tracing purposes.
