Had the pleasure of trying Agave & Rye today for lunch. We had a party of 6, arrived at noon and got sat right away. We started... with the dip trio with chunky salsa, queso and guac; all fantastic. For lunch we shared several items including birria burrito(5/5), chicken street tacos (5/5), the fajita taco, the swipe right taco, the happy meal taco, the Sugar Daddy taco, the Detroitpizza taco and the bomb taco (pictured below, all were delicious). Agave and Rye is the Perfect addition to the restaurants in the area! Levis has some great choices!! Basil is our usual go to,... however tonight we decided to switch it up and try something new!! Certainly glad we did!! Mikaela was awesome. Her and the teamwere definitely "epic". Great team service. The BRUSSELS WERE TO DIE FOR. The wait staff was amazing! the front house didn't want to sit us at a table that was not dry yet so they moved us! the drinks... ( the new fasion and the red corvette) were amazing! the food, the swipe right, happy meal, and the crown jewel wereperfect! Atmosphere is fantastic with amazing decor. Well made. Chips and salsa were good too; Chips can be eaten on their own! DO NOT... COME HERE IF YOU ARE WHITE AND CAN?T HANDLE SPICE. Got a loaded Coney dog taco, can't remember what they called it, but man was it epic. Staff was amazing, super kind and willing... to help even when other people would be overwhelmed. Can't say enough good things from atmosphere to the food and drinks. Drinksare pricey but I 100% feel like I got my money's worth. Will definitely be returning, with friends, a lot. Read more

This is a neat place and a fun experience. I love the way it's decorated and the atmosphere inside is trendy, weird and cool all... at the same time. The margarita was very fresh and tasty. Food was just okay for me, a little over the top to be honest and witha lot of hype. I got the dirty bird and the filthy fajita if memory serves. They were both good, there's nothing wrong with thembut it was just too much and a giant mess to eat. When I come back here I think I'll get something off the regular menu and notthe taco menu. We also got the chips (I probably should have mentioned this first as it was our appetizer) and picked salsa,guacamole and cheese dip. The salsa had sort of a weird smoky taste to it, it was fresh but not my favorite. The guacamole Ithought was pretty good, it had a lot of onion in it which I liked but my wife didn't. And the cheese dip was really good. If Iwere to get that again I would just get the cheese dip since getting those three total condiments and the nachos it was close to$20 which is insane. The wait here can be insanely long so if you're going to want to get here maybe try for lunch first.Dinner time on a Friday or Saturday will be a humongous wait so plan accordingly. We came in on a weekday and the wait was 15minutes (which is nothing) but we were pretty close to 12:30 if memory serves. Read more
