I have dined and ordered carryout and curbside from this location many times without problems. Today, I had to wait a 1/2 hour... for my curbside order. I called when I arrived and the woman on the other end said she will bring it out when she had a chance.I waited 10 minutes (this was 1:30 in the afternoon). I realized maybe they are short staffed so I thought I would help theperson and just come in the restaurant so they could save time going out to my car. The woman asked whether I was dining in orcarryout. I told her my name and I was picking up my curbside order. She said she hadn't had time to put it together. Another20 minutes went by. She helped everyone else who was dining in before me. All she had to add to the order was a salad, rolls,and a piece of pie. There was no hot food she was waiting on. Was she short staffed. No. I counted four people who were workingbehind the counter. Everyone was moving slower than molasses. One woman was just standing there. Another woman after a halfhour asked if I had been helped. I said I had been waiting a half hour for my curbside order very upset. Finally, I got myorder. I have seen the restaurant substantially busier with faster service. I would highly recommend some better training foryour staff. Read more
today at Bob evens I had the steak broccoli and mashed potatoes. It was pretty OK so it WASENT the best but it definitely was... good. The steak was not chewy and bad like most of the places. The banana bread was delicious! And the waitress was so nice andkind. Read more
just spent more if my sat morning than planned waiting for barely warm food at this place. all my food was in the "danger zone "... temp range and I chose not to send it back. bob Evans is one of my favs and I have never in 55 years had such a negative diningexperience here. part of my meal was discounted even though I only ate the two biscuits and the heated up sausage gravy. thejuice and hot cocoa were perfect! not coming back to this location,ever. The food was good! Love their breakfast, especially the pancakes. Our waitress was good. The checkout process could have been... better. The young gal at the register didn't know how to add on items that we asked for at the counter and once it was all done, she put part of my mom's add on items to my sister's check. For the life of me, I don't know how that happened. Read more
We eat there quiet often. We like coming for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Place is clean, service is good, staff are courteous,... but not intrusive & food is always just what we expect from Bob Evans. Delicious biscuits with gravy, burgers, potato soup aresome of the favorites. Read more
Went here on a busy Sunday. We still were seated in a timely fashion. Waitress was great! She kept us apprised of what was... happening with our order, as it was coming out slower than they preferred. The cook(s) didn't come in so the general manager wascooking. Only a couple hosts came in, and a couple waitstaff. Still, the food was hot and tasty. I appreciated their greatattitudes and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Read more
I've been other Bob Evans and have gotten better salads elsewhere is size. Ill let that point slide. And only push them back to... two stars... since they had brown lettuce in my salad . Not something I want to eat. Other star lost cause our server was rudeand uninviting. Complained about other employees and stomped off on multiple occasions. Read more
We arrived at 11:20 and the temperature was freezing! It was cold and windy outside and probably 63 inside. The air coming out... of the vents was cold. Everyone in the place wore their winter coats the entire time. It took an hour to get our food! Thepotatoes in the soup were crunchy and the soup was cold as was every other dish that should have been warm most likely due tohow cold it was inside and how long it took to get our food! When I brought it to the attention of the server, she said theyhave no control over the temperature because the thermostat was in a locked room. She was quite abrupt about it and didn'tapologize or say she would bring it to the attention of the person in charge of the place. We certainly didn't come to freezeand eat cold food. This was the Perrysburg location in Levis Commons. Turn the freaking heat up and serve the food when it'sready! I blame the waitress! Read more
