Waffle house is a decent breakfast place. Usually fast and reasonably priced. Service is usually pretty good as well.
There were 6 customers including myself when I arrived. After sitting at my table for a few minutes, a Waffle House employee,... who was seated at the counter, announced to the entire store that it was going to be about 30 minutes before anyone could getserved because she was trying to take a break. While that?s a failure of management to have only two employees on staff whenclearly more were needed, it?s an even bigger failure on the part of that employee who?s break was more important than customerservice and perception. I know we?re in challenging times, and because nobody wants to work, restaurants are short staffed andtherefore left with the worst possible employment candidates, but management has to find a way to do better. One of my favorite restaurants! Live the waffles, my wife had a bacon/egg bowl and she really enjoyed it.
