This place has been a favorite of mine for over 10 years. Recently they have had to raise their prices several times due to... supply-related costs and a glance at the menu may dissuade some from dining here. But I can attest that, having sampled Japanesecuisine from multiple locations locally and throughout the states, this remains the finest sushi restaurant I have ever been to.Even at higher price points than I would like, this restaurant continues to prepare food that is worthy every penny. While"shrinkflation" seems to have hit many establishments, it has not affected this place. I remain pleased with the portion sizesand high quality of the food, as well as presentation when I dine in. While cash flow keeps me from dining here as often as I'dlike, I look forward to every next visit. Read more
I look forward to eating here every year for my birthday, never disappointed! Tried the bento box recently and was shocked by... the amount of food. Great deal! I do wish it was full service sit down instead of ordering at the counter though. The frontlobby gets jam packed with people waiting to order or to pickup to go orders. First time trying sushi from here, had a friend at work chat it up and kind enough to bring us some and my crabby role was hands... down the best I have ever had and we bought about 5 different rolls and everything and everyone agreed , once you eat sushi hereall the others seem like a cheap fast food place . I really used to love eating here because they served great food and the fact it was the only sushi place in the area was a... bonus! Recently, the quality of food has gone down tremendously. I ordered a regular spicy tuna roll and could barely eat 3pieces. It didn't taste fresh at all. My husband ordered teriyaki chicken, but what he got was pale steamed chicken withteriyaki sauce poured on top. They didn't bother to at least brown the chicken or make the sauce look like it didn't just comeout of a generic bottle of teriyaki sauce you buy at walmart. If I'm able to make a far better edible terayaki chicken dish athome, I am not spending $60 again at this place. Read more
