It wasn't the most positive experience. The cuisine is declared as German, but in fact there are only names of dishes from... German. The salad as a compliment was disgusting. Schnitzel, spaetzel and kraut oh my! The short of it is that if you are in the area, or even if your not in the area,... Maximilian's is a must eat. The in-laws have been going here since the '80s, and I don't think the menu has changed! Which isgood. They make the best schnitzel, hands down, bar-none. Service is what you expect from and old world restaurant, attentiveand unflinching. The dining room has an German charm that gives you a sense of the alps. The patio outback has a terrific viewof the pond with a fountain. Very picturesque. Reservations are recommended, and covid protocols are followed, depending onwhen this is read, please check with the restaurant for details.
