We only go if a good sale on item we want. Store high priced for retirement folks like us. Liquor is way high. We went for... latest $.99 sale and had to get rain checks on three items. Walmart and even Kroger cheaper on most items watching a budget. Read more

Hy-Vee is great! I'm new to the area and am always impressed when I go there. They always have enough lanes open, which is a big... deal these days. Great produce selection, and their deli and ready to go food is good too. I've become a big fan of this grocerystore! I feel like it's kind of oddly laid out inside, but it doesn't bother me. I?m getting so disgusted in HyVee lately. First, if you are using a HyVee Saver Card make sure you check that they are giving... you your points for gas discount. I have been there every Wednesday to get certain things in the Health Department and everytime I had to go to the service desk to get my point?s?. Shouldn?t have to do that. Second make sure you look at the expirationdate on the things you buy. Just bought something Wednesday and the 3 drinks were expired last month. Ridiculous that they dothis. Please be alert next time you go there. This is one of the many things I have bought that was expired. Read more
This place is bonkers great. Food as far as the eye can see. And deals, too! Built in coffee shop and restrooms if you are... tired, state-of-the-art self-checkouts if you are in a hurry, a pharmacy if you are sick, flowers if you are sad, and sushi ifyou are starving. And chopsticks, too! Just passed by on a long drive and decided to stop on a whim. What a big country I livein! Not quite small town America, but nice, really, to stumble upon. Read more
