The waitress was very attentive. Quick and efficient service. The night manager was belligerent to her staff. Yelling could... be heard from the kitchen. A fellow diner actually got up to make sure the employees were safe. The manager was taking tips offthe tables and pocketing them, apparently stealing is OK? We went specifically for breakfast/lunch menu items excluding my granddaughter she wanted the minions menu. My only complaint... would be the shaky table that would not stay in place. . And it was very crowded at 10:40 am on Saturday morning. It was nice tosee they still have the over 55 menu. All in all a good time. If you have young children. . Make this stop. Read more

Took my 4 grands out to eat and I was totally surprised because we all got full and I only spent $35. Big breakfast at 6pm. ... Service was good, table was clean, condiments were free, and it wasn't busy. We all enjoyed Peru, IL IHOP. Read more
Very well managed IHOP just off I-80. We were traveling and it was Father's Day. The young man who was the manager was very... friendly and polite. Wait staff were attentive. Several wished me a Happy Father's Day. Food was good, and it was a pleasantexperience. Read more
I had to use the restroom before our meal, and unfortunately the strong sewer smell left a bad first impression. The bathroom... was also dirty, I can't believe there isn't more complaints. I can not recommend this Ihop at all. Every step of the experience there was a wait. Wait to be seated, wait for the server... to acknowledge us, wait for our food it just seemed to take a lot longer than it should have. The Grinch cocoa was very prettybut was barely warm and the iced tea was rancid. Our chicken noodle soup was not hot by any stretch of the imagination. Thecheesecake french toast was nothing like it showed on the menu it was just french toast with a some cream cheese and raspberrieson it. The turkey dinner came out and the turkey looked like it had been processed beyond recognition, i had to ask for gravyfor the mashed potatoes (the server said the meal didn't come with gravy) and for the lingonberries that was supposed to comewith it.
