About half of the way back home from the Quad Cities why decided to grab some lunch. Riverfront came up on the google search.... It?s not too far from the highway. For an appetizer we went with the fried pickles. We weren?t expecting spears so that was apleasant surprise. Absolutely delicious. My wife got the chicken bacon ranch wrap. Great location, food, staff, and atmosphere. If the weather is good, the outside covered bar is where to be, but inside looks... welcoming and comfortable as well. Good local crowd. I didn't get a good picture, but the Italian beef sandwich was perfect.Cooked well, cheesy, the au jus was flavorful, and the bread was great. Had Mother's Day lunch and they sat us down, which was the last table that was available. There was 2 large gathering coming in.... Food is delicious ???? I love the homemade onion rings! Our waitress was very prompt and on top of refilling our drinks,asking if we were good. Excellent service! Great scene by the water. Read more
Previously rated it 5 stars, but the Italian Beef was below par. Plenty of beef, no flavor, dried out, and only 2 of the... smallest peperoncinos ever. I ask for giardiniera, but they did not have it. It should be a law if you serve Italian Beef thenyou must have giardiniera. Read more
We will certainly go back. The service was fantastic, the food was superb, the prices are great, it was the perfect day to sit... out in the patio. The beer selection was above expectation. There was absolutely nothing wrong with our experience. 7-5-21Update: Mediocre service, long wait for food, portions were absurd. It was nothing like the five or six previous visits. We were traveling through Peru and found this place. Was a very cool place. Destiny was our waitress and she was awesome. Very... nice. The food was amazing. She recommended the itial sandwich.
