My Young Beautiful Bride and I went to Peru, Indiana for some ice cream at the East End Double Dip. Delightful and interesting... place, with so many flavors and items to choose from. We really enjoy ice cream and this is the best. Read more
This has to be Peru's hidden secret! Wonderful selection of hurricanes, sundaes and shakes and they will prepare them... perfectly. The staff is efficient and very friendly. By far, the best ice cream in the state! Read more

I hadn't been to East End for several years, so I anticipated what I'd remembered. I got a sundae but had to pay an extra $1.00... to get hands dipped ice cream. I had chocolate and marshmallow toppings on the ice cream. The chocolate appeared to be watereddown, very thin and runny with little flavor. The marshmallow was almost non-existent. Also, there was not enough toppings onthe sundae to go with the ice cream. The last one- third of the sundae was just ice cream. What a disappointment! I would nolonger recommend East End. Read more
Had my yearly Turtle sundae was so yummy. I have tried to get this but the lines are always so long. Today I gave it another try... and the visit was so quick only one person ahead of me. Read more
Was very disappointing with our order the day before they closed... pizza was terrible. Don't no if they hadn't cleaned the... oven lately or what but the bottom of the crust was mostly covered in black spots...and my ham sandwich had a few slices n theextra ham I asked for was chunks like they put on pizza.
