Went there with 8 people last night. Place was almost empty. Waited 15 minutes before we were asked if we wanted drinks. Waiter... was invisible, had to flag him down multiple times. We had to get our own place settings from other tables. Literally nobodypaid attention to us. However the food was good hence the 2 star review. They added a 20% tip. Good thing because there wouldhave been -0- tip from us. Would no go back. Also, we were never asked if we wanted dessert and coffee. Read more
This is such a great dining experience. I love the patio and the excellent service. They are very attentive. We often get the... catch of the day ceviche. The drinks are so good! The pisco sour is one of our favorites. So refreshing and Fresh! You cantell they use fresh and quality ingredients in their meal. Of course, they have a nice river view too. I would say this is thebest patio dining in Petaluma. Read more
I want to start this off by saying that Ayawaska has THE BEST cocktails in Petaluma! Absolutely none compare and they are so... diverse in their cocktail menu. My husband and I also love their appetizers, they are always delicious. And again, very diverse!However, the main courses tends to be bland and I don’t feel they’re worth the price! Really good choice for your gateway place with delicious, Peruvian food, good service and excellent views over the water. Place... was suggested as the hint and was really enjoyed. Lomo Saltado was a little bit on the plain side, however the sauce it camewith made this dish complete. Arroz con Mariscos GF (seafood paella) was very flavorful and had just the right amount of seafoodin it to make this day stand out. Service was slightly delayed however then got enough attention. The place is amazing. Really good Peruvian food Best ceviche I have had in california. Food is tasty. Drinks are really good.... Price is fine. Everything was good. Lomo saltado could have more meet. 2nd time dining here had been to Novato and it was just as great! Took one star off for waiter nit offering us dessert and... closing out the bill. Otherwise food and drinks were 5 starts across the board! Read more
Yum, i loved the salmon with potato gratin and vegetables was delicious! I would absolutely order this dish again!! Lightening... the oiliness of the gratin is warranted. Staff were energized and seem to have a positive work culture. Some come across as ifthey'd rather be anywhere else but I don't expect restaurant staff to also be professional actors haha. Elegant while casual.Great place. I’d like to return. Thank you, Chef for such excellent food with a perfect cook on the salmon and a generousportion. A very special shout out to Mr. Phillip, the waiter extraordinaire, who took care of me. You want to be treated as ifyou are a VIP, ask for him! Tallk about top notch service, which is far from the norm these days what with all the staffingshortages. Overall, a great dining experience. I RECOMMEND THE CUSTARD for dessert!! Read more
