What a wonderful surprise. Sam welcomed us with a warm friendly smile. Pete the pitmaster, came over said hello and had great... conversation. I had been longing for a good pull pork sandwich and my husband wanted brisket, well we struck gold here. Theyboth were delicious and done excellent. We purchased 1/2 lb of brisket to take home. We will return for more. Yes, the ridefrom Novato was worth it. Read more

Great burgers!! Smokers are out back for the brisket and ribs made here. Cute, rustic decor inside with outdoor patio seating... also. Brews on tap too. Read more

We arrived on a sunny September Saturday afternoon and sat back in the patio. The smokers were going and smelled so... delicious. I was really hungry for great briskett so... we started with the Brisket Tatochs, sooooo delicious. The extra crispytots, delicious cheese sauce, sweet pickled onion, brisket and Jalapenos were amazing. Next, were the brisket tacos, it shouldbe a required everywhere to melt the cheese on the tortillas, this elevated the flavor and enhanced texture of the taco. I hadthe Brooklyn, once again the tender and juicy briskett delivered. The bread was soft and held the flavors in well, thesaurkraut and mustard were successful pairing to the smokey meat. I also had the pimento mac and cheese and mustard greens, bothwere delicious sides. This place reminds me of a backyard bbq with delicious food, great atmosphere and a family friendlyexperience. First time here. Certainly won’t be the last. I’m anxious to try a lot of other things on the menu. Many many years ago it... was a really good Mexican restaurant. But now it is an excellent barbecue restaurant with some innovative twists. The brisketis perfect and on these tachtos (sp?) combined with all the other stuff they put on there it really shines. And the tortillasare fried in a Parmesan cheddar mixture that gives them a crispy crust which is truly delicious. It’s sort of like Italymeets Texas meets Mexico. Read more

Really solid bbq! Pork is world-class and the sides are awesome. Brisket is incredibly solid and among the best I've had in... Northern California. Can't wait to try more of the menu! Read more

Food was tasty but a bit expensive for what you get. I had the Muddy Waters sandwich which is their version of a French dip. ... The au jus was bland and the sandwich bread was very thin so it did not do a good job soaking up the jus. My daughter's chickentenders were burner. Mac and cheese side had a good cheese sauce but the noodles were over cooked. The greens were good but atad too salty. The best dish was the totchos with brisket. So tasty I would return for that dish. Read more
